We enjoyed the trip; the hostess/narrator was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Our voyage was marred by a group of boisterous men. The guide asked them to quiet down, which did little good. The wine was good, as was the canelé. The Garonne River is unusual and interesting.

A great way to see the city! It was nice to enjoy Bordeaux from the river with a glass of wine. Thanks!

This was a very underwhelming river cruise. Not much to see other than a few buildings and some rusting old boats. A view of the wine museum and old fishing huts. The wine offered was undrinkable. And the canele was the size of a thumb. DO NOT RECOMMEND this cruise. Save your money.

Bordeaux is overall a nice city, with a lot of activities or a lot of historical places to see. It is not the most beautiful city, especially if you decide to avoid touristic places or if you don't have a few recommendations from people living there already, but I had a good experience spending a week in that city. During that trip, we decided with my family to take a ride on the "Prestige Cruise" with a free canelé and glass of wine. The idea of it is really nice and family friendly, because for those who don't drink, a free soda or another beverage is given. The cruise itself is good, even if the river is not quite pretty (be aware of this fellow tourists, and people will explain it to you: it is because of its composition and its maintenance). The crew is amazing, and the lady who guided the tour was really useful. She told us a lot of historical facts, which was complementary to the walk around the town that we did. Moreover, she was really funny, in a way that even the children were interested. I would recommend it, even if it required a certain budget, but it was one hour and a half well spent.

It was very nice the tour guide/speaker on that boat was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thankfully the weather was beautiful.

Aulien was a fun and informative guide on our 1.5 hour river cruise. He gave us a lot of local historical and current information. The snack and wine made the cruise extra special! Highly recommend!

The guide was very informative but unfortunately we felt that the trip was only average. The main reasons for this were; poor quality wine and canele (we didn't expect high quality wine but the red was undrinkable!) the other main reason was that the river generally was far less attractive than any of us had imagined and so apart from a couple of bridges there was little to see on either side. There are better things to see and do in the beautiful city centre so I wouldn't waste time on this boat.

A great way to learn the history of the city and to see it from the water. Guide was French and English fluent and switched seamlessly.

Very good experience and very informative. Slow cruise up the river with an open top area. Nice bar although no food available. Would recommend.

An excellent trip. Anne-Marie was a brilliant and funny bilingual guide. She introduced the history and culture of the city and river (even organised the raising of the Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas, for us!). A great introduction to Bordeaux, with wine too.
