We booked through Viator before arriving in El Calafate. Very good experience. It is definitely worth paying for the boat journey as part of the tour. We didn’t pay the entrance fee to the park before the day - and this did not cause much delays. Communication was good prior to the trip, in the booking confirmation there is a whatsapp number to contact the previous day to confirm pick ups etc. We were picked up on time at the hotel, the guide Natalie was very knowledgable and the journey to the park flew by as she gave us all a detailed explanation of what we would see during the day - and a geography lesson. The driver was also excellent - it snowed heavily during the afternoon on the way back to el Calafate and I felt completely safe. The boat journey is amazing, I was glad that I had several layers of clothing (July). We then made our way to the walkways for a different view od the glacier. The whiskey with ice from the glacier at the end is worth it. Great trip and one of the highlights of the trip to Argentina.

Perfectly timed tour which balanced group and solo opportunities. The boat ride is a can't miss - for those that want to experience the glacier you absolutely must do the optional boat ride. It was the undisputed highlight of the whole day.

Martin our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a very informative and most memorable trip. Looking at the glacier is like looking at a postcard. It’s a one of a kind experience and we are so lucky to have experience it.

Had the best time exploring the Perito Moreno Glacier and Los Glaciares National Park with this tour company! Our guide Pablo shared great information about Patagonia on the drive to the park and it was awesome to learn more about the area. I added the optional boat tour and I’m so glad I did. The weather was looking a little overcast/cloudy on our way there but by the time we were on the boat, the sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day! We had plenty of time to grab lunch and explore after the boat tour before heading back to El Calafate.

Great scenery! We booked the trip 4 months ahead. It turned out that the price charged charged by Viator did not include the admission to the national park. Two days before the trip, I received a WhatsApp message telling me to purchase park ticket online. The message provided a link which took me to the Spanish version of the park website. Since I don’t know Spanish, it took me an hour to get the words translated and to enter the various information required by the park such as names and passport numbers. Purchasing of the park ticket should’ve been done by the tour operator.

Pablo our guide was excellent - thank you. The weather was great and the views of the glacier were spectacular. The boat trip was a highlight. Our only reservations were that the price of the tour (US$269 each) was expensive compared to others and we thought it included the price of the National Park Tickets. We paid an extra US $57 each for these to Say Hueque and understood this would facilitate more efficient access to the park. It transpired that Pablo needed to collect the tickets, and for other members on the tour who paid on the day, it cost US$ 42.10. Our advice therefore is to purchase the Park entrance tickets separately. Our onward journey took us to El Cheltern and our National Park entrance tickets to the glacier entitled us to a 50% discount ( if used within 72 hours of the date stamp ) to the National Park entrance to the Mountain FitzRoy self guided 6 hour hike which was amazing.

Wow wow WOW!!! Worth every penny! We added the boat part of the tour and appreciated the different perspective it gave us. The trails along the glacier are spectacular! We loved having plenty of time to explore. So glad we did this tour and Guadalupe was amazing too!!! Highly recommend!
