Breathtaking Panama: City & Canal Half-Day Immersion

We had such a great time! Our driver and tour guide Luis was fantastic! He was so much fun and very knowledgeable! We had a blast!

Our driver, Javier, picked us up at our hotel and took us on the tour. He was very personable and informative - we learnt so much about the history of Panama. He was flexible, ensuring we didn't redo any experience we already had. He took photos at every stop and sent them to my phone immediately, so that we could immerse ourselves in the experience and still have the photo memories. We had the absolutely best time and highly recommend this tour!

Ronald was incredibly knowledgeable. He loves his country, proudly cites all the historical moments throughout the trip, and gives clear explanations about the Miraflores Locks, the Casco Viejo old quarter, and the city’s modern skyline. Seeing the ships pass through the canal up close was an unforgettable moment — it really brings the engineering marvel to life.

I think the tour guide that my cousin and I had wax very informative and kind. He interjected his own life experiences in his stories about Panama that made it entertaining. I think that Viator should include the $20 fee for the movie narrated by Morgan Freeman in the total cost of the trip when they advertise the trip on the website though. The trip’s total cost was 86.00 and I wouldn’t have taken it if I known the final cost. 89.00 was way too much for a trip to Panama Canal.

Dimas was the tour guide for the group, he was friendly, professional and had a great knowledge of history and facts about Panama. We visit Casco Viejo, and old part of the city where buildings are preserved and mostly of theare colorful. We have the opportunity to learn the difference between a Panama and a Panamanian hat. The visit to the Canal was great, including watching a video about. I see how works and saw a ship.
