London's Iconic Wonders: 1-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Annoying that I had to barter for a better price - seems unfair & a bit of a rip off. The ticket prices should be set. Gives a really poor impression to tourists! Driver Agnes was great negotiating the dreadful traffic & roadworks. Guide Marc was excellent. Fantastic knowledge with humour thrown in. Really enjoyed his narrative on the tour. Sadly he finished before my tour had ended & I hadn't picked up a headset so I had no information on the monuments & sights for the last 30min or so. I'd certainly recommend the tour. Great way to orientate yourself & get around all the sights. But advisable to ask for a headset! Lots of interesting information. Ideal being able to hop on hop off, although I didn't take advantage of this as I was meeting my daughter after the tour. I was on the blue route & would like to do the other routes too next time I'm in London. Sadly I didn't have time to go on the river cruise either.

At our first selected stop, we waited a while before discovering from another tour company that the road was closed and none of the buses from any tour companies would be stopping there. We did not find any Golden Tours staff at the stops to help ensure we were at the right places, particularly since the stops didn’t seem to quite match up with the map in the Golden Tours app. We were assisted by other tour company guides, but would have appreciated the help from representatives of the company we booked with. Once we made it on a bus, however, the experience was great! We first hopped on the Blue Line with Joe, who was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We then transferred to the Orange Line, where there wasn’t a guide, but we were able to follow along on the map and find the stop we wanted. This was a great way to get around and see London!

We bought a 72 hour hop off hop on with cruise. We enjoyed every minute we spent with golden tours crews. Everyone was nice, polite and truly professional. Our favorite guide on the hoponhopoff was definitely Joe. Very knowledgeable and witty without over doing it. Joe made us feel welcome and shared useful and interesting information about London and its history. Consider yourself lucky if you step upon a tour bus guided by Joe. Not Henry viii.

Emma the tour guide for the Red Route was fabulous bringing London Alive for 2 Aussies. Can highly recommend doing the hop on hop off bus too see the sights of London and hear from a 4th generation Londoner. Well done

The goldentours was great, with three different routes around central London. It has both audio tour guides and occasionally live tour guides. We were fortunate to get Emma on one of our legs and she was great. Very personable and well informed on London’s history. We also had her for the night bus tour to see all the Christmas street lights last year. She was great for that one as well. Definitely worth it.

Joe was our tour guide was amazing and very entertaining and knew all his facts! Alex was our lovely driver and was great! Would recommend! Joe made the trip! X

This tour was a fantastic choice for my first trip to London. I got to see so many different neighborhoods and the Hop On, Hop Off feature was a really convenient option. Mohammed was our driver and he did a top-notch job getting us safely around this spectacular city. I recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic experience on this bus at the weekend, we did the blue line looping around London sites. Our guide Emma was absolutely brilliant! She was SO knowledgeable about every building/bridge/London landmark/royal family and let us know the best photo opportunities too! She made it so fun for everyone on the bus, we were 3 generations in a family and all loved it. Can’t recommend enough!! Hello to her mum in Ireland who reads all the lovely reviews about her daughter too!
