This tour was just ok. Guide was not great - not very engaged or interesting. Porto is easy to see in half a day tops. There's just not too much there.

We really enjoyed learning from and walking with Ruben on our 3 hour private tour. He is soft spoken yet very enthusiastic about his hometown of Porto which he clearly loves. Our time with him was a great introduction to Porto. He even sent us a follow up email with so much information about Porto plus some restaurant suggestions.

We truly enjoyed our private tour with Orlando. Over the course of several hours, we saw all the highlights of Porto along with several-off-the-beaten path experiences. If you want to understand the history and culture of Porto – including how country formation, religion, and economic changes shape current times -- Orlando is a remarkable guide. We felt we had an authentic experience and learned a great deal. He was never in a hurry and took the time to explain and discuss a wide range of topics that you would not find in a typical group tour.

Amazing experience!! Our guide Helena was fun but also so knowledgeable about the history of Porto and also having been a local for years, was able to talk about more recent culture and information, as well. Took us through the city to avoid less hills but still brought us to important locations. Three hours didn’t feel too long - was the perfect amount of time!

This is a fantastic walking tour. Be prepared for a lot of walking up and down steep streets though. Our guide, Rosa, was fantastic. So knowledgeable about the city and its history and showed us some local gems. Amazing secret place we stopped for a snack with her. Definitely request Rosa if you take this tour.
