Breathtaking Taj Mahal: Fast Train Day Trip from Delhi

Chirag and Somesh were fantastic guides around Agra - knowledgeable and friendly. I was picked up on time and taken directly to the train. Somesh picked me up from the platform and the tour around Agra was informative and interesting!

Booked this tour experience to Agra and the Taj Mahal. Our guide was Vishal Garg and he was great. Patient, well informed and very polite. The area around the Taj Mahal can be a bit overwhelming and he did a very good job guiding us and explaining the rules of the road ahead of time. Vishal also speaks Spanish and was overall a great guide. Definitely worth recommending and now i understand why they have some many high reviews. Great experience!!!!

The Taj Mahal was definitely a majestic place to visit … seeing pictures is one thing, but it is amazing in person. Chirag our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us get through all the lines quickly … the only downside was the train from Delhi was two hours late (apparently not uncommon this time of year), so we could not do the full agenda. That said we had plenty of time for the Taj Mahal, which is the main attraction clearly … the food at the restaurant for lunch was very good

Well organized trip and Amin tours constantly communicate via WhatsApp. Shakier (driver at Delhi) picked us in the morning and pick up us in the evening at the station. He took us to our seats in the train and he sent our photo to Somesh (another driver at Agra), so Somesh found us easily when we got off the train. Then Somesh picked up Amaan (tour guide) on the way. At Taj Mahal, we changed to a tuktuk. With Amaan, it is very easy to do. Amaan is a very good photographer and took many good photos for us. Since India’s traffic is unpredictable, tour has enough connection time. Unfortunately we had to wait for one hour at the stations, but luckily we found the bench to sit. There were lots of monkeys at Agra station, so it was ok to wait. Express train seems to be dedicated for tourists and they provided packaged snacks. Amaan took us Indian restraint at called Lotus for lunch instead of Courtyard written in itinerary. We are very happy with our drivers and guide and tour operators. It was one of our bucket list to visit Taj Mahal and we made it very easily with Amin Tours.

I ended up doing my tour as a solo female traveler with Nadiim and having a private car take me to Agra. Great tour, felt very safe, food was good. The only part that I wish I could avoid were the people trying to sell me everything but just say no upfront.
