Breathtaking Mekong Delta Cruise: 8-Hr Ho Chi Minh Escape

It was a super inclusive and interesting experience, we stopped at different islands along the river,tasted some local stuff and heard a lot about the crafts and lives of people!

We jad a fantastic experience of the Mekong Delta with a warm and knowledgable host Nina. We travelled pm a wooden ferry boat to several islands including exotic local fruits, flowers, fish, and lunch with a spring roll demonstrative. After a lunch we jumped on a small wooden paddle boat which took us to the ferry boat and across the Mekong back. We avoided the usual tourist congestion and felt special. Nena made us feel very relaxed.

After the intensity the Cu Chi tunnels yesterday , today could not have been more different. Nina (perfect guide )was an absolute star – warm, cheerful and full of fascinating information. She made the whole journey along the Mekong feel effortless. We cruised the river, stopping across four islands, visited a beehive for honey tea, watched coconut candy being made, bumped along the village by tuk-tuk, and tasted beautiful fresh fruits along the way. Finished with delicious Mekong Delta food and very happy memories of a wonderful day.

Mekong Delta experience with Nina as our guide from Ho Chi Min was a fantastic day out, from pickup at the Opera House to drop off late afternoon back there. The day was fun and information rich. The drive down was filled with information sharing and discussions of many topics about Vietnam. A small boat took us to 4 islands in the delta. The itinerary covered many aspects of islanders lives in the delta. We had a Tuk-Tuk ride, a slow paddle boat, looked at (and tasted) the many uses a coconut can be used for as well as having a lovely local lunch organised. Nina was always easy to engage with. full of facts and useful knowledge. Nina helped in making the day great.

Thanh was an exceptional guide for us on the Mekong. His knowledge of the tour was second to none but also his knowledge of the country. His English was exceptional. He was super friendly and kind. He made this trip so much more enjoyable as he went above and beyond. We recently did a 2 err Intrepid tour in India and made me think what an incredible tour leader he would be due to his nature and Knowledge.

We had a brilliant day exploring the Mekong Delta with Thanh. It was a great tour with interesting stops along the way. Thanh was an excellent guide giving us lots of interesting information and answering our questions along the way. Would recommend the trip to others and think Thanh is an absolutely wonderful guide!

A great way to see the Mekong Delta and how the local people live. Our tour guide Nina, was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour, it’s worth the trip, you get to try fresh local fruits, honey, how coconut candy is made and local fish/rice paper rolls, it was so fresh and delicious. It’s a change of pace, to have a break from the busy city of Ho Chi Minh, relax and see the lives of the countryside people.

Very well run . The tour guide Nina was excellent . Loved all the different things that we did . Coach was clean . Great food at the home stay . Everyone so friendly . Nina made the trip . Thank you Nina !

Nina was fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and her English was great. Very different pace from Saigon City. Highly recommend this tour!!
