I totally loved this tour! The guide was very helpful, patient and he was very knowledgeable about the places and the history with a positive attitude. We were picked up at our hotel in the historic downtown and also we were left there when we came back and the tour was very complete, we went to Amatitán to see the blue agaves and to the Jose Cuervo des tillers in Tequila with free time to walk and to the Hacienda Tequilera Los tres Toños. Definitely I’ll do again this same tour when I come back again to Jalisco.

The Jose Cuervo train looked interesting, but as it only runs on weekends we too a mid-day bus tour, which worked out great. We were able to visit an agave field and talk to the owners, a boutique distillery, and finally the Big Dog distillery Jose Cuervo. In many ways the process is similar to the Kentucky bourbon Trail. The transit to and from Tequila is a bit long, one-hour going from Guadalajara and two-hours, (with traffic) returning. Still a very enjoyable and educational day.

Dante our tour guide was awesome. He was so informative about the area, history, culture- anything we asked he was happy to explain. The first distillery was a charming tour. Beautiful buildings. Second distillery was La Rojena- wow what an operation! Tequila town square was small and easy to wander around. We wandered off and it with the locals near the church. Would recommend the trip to anyone.

First - Ramon was excellent. Great communication for the pick up at the hotel. The explanations and answering questions was much appreciated. Tequila is a beautiful little town. The three stops - the blue agave field, Selecto Distillery and Jose Cuervo tour were informative and entertaining. Many tastings and explanation of how best to taste. Just a really great day. Be prepared, bring snacks and water as they are not provided. (Except at the very beginning). It can be pretty hot so dress lightly. The roads are extremely bumpy and especially on a holiday weekend like I went - the traffic was horrendous. (Roman did his best to navigate around)

Very cool tour of the agave fields and tequila factories. I wish we had more time in Tequila, but the guide was very nice and gave very good information.

The places we visite where very interesting. The information I was trying to learn was there, but the tour guide was pretty bad.

The trip to Tequila was a very fun filled and educational day. The two highlights for us were learning how the agave plant is grown and harvested and visiting the artisanal Tequila plant. We learned a lot about the varieties of Tequila and now know what to buy. The trip to the more industrial Jose Cuervo factory was okay, but not really a highlight, especially since the tastings were very limited. Most of the tour attendees were Spanish speakers but the guide did an excellent job of explaining things to the English speakers.

Trip was okay, went to find tequila farm and was very interesting. Very informative. Next went to first distillery and was great. Took us through how tequila is made. , had lots of samples tour guide there was awesome. Went on to Tequila had free time , then went to Jose Cuervo distillery, left after a few minutes , repeat of first distillery.

Excellent tour operator. Great guide, could have had a tiny bit better with his translation of Spanish to English but no problem really what so ever. Comfortable motor coach, excellent driver. Great sites to see and place to eat. I wish I had 2 stomachs because the food at the restaurant in the town of Tequila was amazing. Loved visiting the 2 Tequila plants and the Agave farm.
