High Atlas & 5 Valleys: Marrakech's Breathtaking Nature Escape

We had a great time on this trip! Our guide Abdullah was very knowledgeable about the local people and history and food - it really enriched our week here.

This trip was fantastic from beginning to end. Our guide Mohammed no.1 was not only a brilliant driver, could speak multiple languages but he was so knowledgeable and passionate about Morocco itself but also the villages and the people that live there. Our group of 6 really hit it off straight away and we shared this amazing day together. We had breakfast with local woman and got to see how they made cosmetics with olive oil and grinding nuts down for peanut butter, saw amazing views, coffee by a beautiful river, lunch made by a local family which was so delicious. Hospitality fantastic. Went on a mini guided tour with Ali our fab guide, saw local village children whom we gave sweets too and who melted my heart. The village people live a very simple life but they have community spirit and are very happy. Muhammed no.1 thank you for being a fun, knowledgeable guide and goodluck for your upcoming wedding :+)

A wonderful trip, the highlight of our visit to Morocco. Ismail was the BEST guide, a great mixture of knowledge and fun, and someone who clearly cares for his country, his family and his guests, as well as the Berber people he works with. Simo (our Berber hiking guide) was kind and helpful. The Berber ladies were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. The scenery was stunning, the food was hearty and plentiful, and the hospitality was wonderful. So much better than some of the big tour buses that we saw just visiting one valley, the small minibus could get up much higher into the mountains to experience the quiet unspoilt areas.

There were three of bus on this tour with Abdullah and it was a wonderful day. A prompt pick up and a comfortable drive up to the mountains. Abdullah is knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. A perfect guide. We had a tasty breakfast, a good hike and then a delicious meal at a local Berber home. Wonderful tagine and very welcoming. Lots of stops for coffee and taking in the sights. Highly recommended 👌

We had the most beautiful experience on our trip to the Atlas Mountains thanks to our wonderful guide, Ismail He took very good care of us He explained everything and beyond He was very attentive and helpful and made us feel amazing Thank you lots

Really great trip! Our guide was full of knowledge. The food was delicious as well. The guide as really energetic and excited to chat with us both about the mountains and about all things Morocco.

Very nice energy from the guide Ismail (the legend) and he shares his knowledge about every tourist fact you can imagine! And then the tour through the beautiful valleys and mountains. Very nice breakfast and after a exciting walk a nice Maroccan lunch. An absolute must for every tourist!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ismail was the best guide ever! The reassuring communication beforehand meant we knew exactly what time we’d be picked up from our hotel. He was punctual and, right from the start, literally bouncing with energy and sunshine! How does this guy keep going all day? His friendly, affable and enthusiastic manner made us feel instantly relaxed, and helped us bond with the lovely Italian and Dutch couples on our tour. Before long, we all felt like family. It was incredible to arrive at the Berber women’s community for breakfast and see how Argan oil is produced. Throughout the day, we visited five beautiful valleys and enjoyed the most amazing lunch with a local Berber family (after a hike that was not too difficult , just perfect for walking through the mountains). I didn’t expect to have a singalong in the back of the car on the way home, but that’s exactly what we did, stone cold sober! If you have the chance to do this tour, do it! And if you get Ismail as your guide, lucky you!

Amazing day out with Ismail! We travelled in a small group and Ismail made us all feel welcomed and told us many interesting facts about Morocco and more! We loved being quizzed about it too 😆 The pace of the trip was perfect,not too rushed nor too slow - we met some amazing people along the way and the Berber family who hosted us for lunch were great and cooked some amazing food for us 😍 We saw some incredible scenery as well and enjoyed every minute of our day out. Definitely recommended.

A wonderful experience not to be missed! With the five valleys tour one gets to see so much more than just the Ourika Valley. Majestic mountains, including the highest peak, local kids, berber families, a semi-challenging hike, mountain villages, green valleys, and all sorts of other interesting views and facts along the way. Loved the berber breakfast with freshly baked bread dipped in miniature tagines of honey, argan oil, and amlou. Ismail is an excellent driver and guide, a walking encyclopedia, very enthusiastic, fun and caring. Make sure you are awake on this tour as he will quiz you on so many things! ;0) I’d already been on a three week tour of Morocco when my sister arrived for a three day first visit, and i enjoyed all the countryside, berber villages, views etc. all over again when i booked us on this tour. Well worthwhile.
