Beautiful scenery the entire tour! The views from the cable car ride and from the top of Mount Komagatake was my favorite even with the clouds rolling in and out. Thank you to our wonderful tour guide Yuko and bus driver Mr. Kono. Lunch was delicious and the Wadaiko drummers did a terrific job!

Good experience and amazing tour guide. The destinations were great and our guide was very helpful. Loved the talking and educating throughout the bus ride.

We had a great tour with our guide, Fumi!! He was very knowledgeable about Fuji and Japan and quite witty and funny. The cruise and ropeway were our favorite parts!

We suffered from bad weather which is definitely impacting the rating. Make sure to only book this trip when you know about weather conditions and visibility indication of Mount Fuji. You will spend approximately 7-8 hours in the bus in total and only 2,5 hours in stops, of which 50 minutes is for mediocre but relatively expensive lunch, so even with good weather it is a quite rushed tour. Organization is fine and it was a pleasure to have Joe as our guide, though we would have preferred to skip the ropeway when it was clear there would be no visibility and head straight back to Tokyo to avoid the traffic jam…

Mt Fuji is a magical place, however, the time given at the 5th station on Mt.Fuji is not enough, didn't give us time to explore around and breath the nature. The Cable car at Hakone, is a waste of money and time! Also, Lunch: quality is very poor, the drum performance is too short. On the good side: We had a great tour guide, thank you Mr. Shin for making this day special, we can tell how much you love your job and your country!! ;-)

Going to Mt Fuji during Cherry Blossom season is highly recommended. Hiro was very kind and made sure everyone understood how to take their trains after the tour. And I loved the drummers! Fantastic show!

Pretty awful, only because of the guide ( TK ). Very unpleasant demeanor, didn’t engage at all. Kept reading out from his notes in monotones sometimes and very rude .

Excellent one day tour Weather was superb at Mr Fuji area so had wonderful photo opportunities but unfortunately because of snow fall a day before couldn’t make it to 5 th station . Our guide TK was superb . On the way described lots of history , culture and geographical insights about important tourist spot . Lunch was great along with Japanese traditional drum show . Lake Ashi cruise we really enjoyed along with Komagatake ropeway . In a nutshell one day tour which starts from Keio Hotel in Shinjuku Tokyo is best so far as Mt Fuji Lake Ashi cruise and Komagatake ropeway tour in a single day is concerned.

The tour guide was great - bit of a long day for kids and a lot of sitting on the bus - not long enough at visitor centre especially when it is busy. The first stop 1 Mount Fuji not worth it. The boat trip and cable car best part of trip but takes along time to get back to station for bullet train. Note you do not have reserved seats back so on a busy train you are standing.
