ParaPoly - The Urban Adventure Game is a game with components of scavenger hunt, escape game and city tour, combined into a real-life board game. Starting from a central square in the city, the tour takes you to famous places, important monuments and interesting corners. Existing elements are used for the game: buildings, monuments, streets, statues - this is how history comes alive. The tasks were designed by escape game developers. And just like in an escape room, each game has its own mission, which is integrated into a story along with the places you visit and the tasks you have to solve. ParaPoly is suitable for everyone who likes to play games, be it a parlour game, escape room, scavenger hunt or city rally, everyone who loves adventure, likes to solve puzzles, does not shy away from 2-3 km of walking and likes to experience something in a group. You can play as a couple or even in six, with grandparents and children (children under the age of 12 (approx.) can play along, but need explanations for most of the puzzles.

We, team of 5 colleagues, had wonderful time together, strolling through the centre of Frankfurt and solving the puzzles through the 12 game stations. Lots of fun, and on some stations bit more struggle to find the clue. It was nice not to have any time pressure, so we could add few more stops during the game - for a coffee, cake, drink...:) Our recommendation!

This was a fantastically fun way to spend an afternoon and see Frankfurt too! Manuel and the team were very responsive when I accidentally booked for the wrong day and the clues were sufficiently tricky and varied to keep us fully engaged. My wife wasn't thrilled with the idea at the start but by the end we both really wanted to crack the code. I wish these games existed in more cities outside of Germany! I vote "yes" to global expansion!

Really enjoyed this game to get to know Frankfurt! Make sure you have access to wifi if possible otherwise be ready to walk around lots to try to connect into different free wifis in the area. We sometimes found it tricky to connect due to not having a good wifi system. The team were really helpful and available to answer any questions or help with clues when we got stuck once. Would definitely recommend!

It was fun! We stopped for lunch, but probably took us closer to 4 hours total (so longer than the 2.5 hours the website says). The website says it’s open 1pm-10pm, but we went earlier and it worked fine.

It was really genius to go sightseeing this way. It was the urban game adventure and through a puzzle it takes you along the city. We didn’t realize it took us 3,5 hour cause we had so much fun. A tip for the company would be the give a little hint instead of the correct answer right away.

On a sunny day we started the tour. Despite the heat, it was a lot of fun to solve the different puzzles and to go some unknown paths and places. Highly recommended

We were very lucky that the city center was not so crowded. The puzzles are absolutely family-friendly, a bit easy for discerning puzzle fans. For us it was a good fit and we had a nice day.

We had great weather and 12 challenging puzzles to solve, which we were able to solve except for a few. Unfortunately, the clues have not always helped us. It was a great experience day.

Have played the game around the new old town and had real fun! You learn a little about the history of Frankfurt in a fun way. Will definitely do the game in Altsachsenhausen.
