The 3 day camping trip to Yosemite was by far the best group tour i have ever done. Yosemite has incredible beauty, and the 3 days give you just enough time to really enjoy it (and a desire to come back again). What really made the trip, though, was our phenomenal group, not least our gem of a tour guide Lawton. Lawton was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and went above and beyond to connect with all of us both individually and as a group. Even with long days of driving, and when the weather wasn’t quite in our favor, he was always positive, kind, and keen to chat. His adaptability meant nothing ever felt like a pain, and we never felt like we missed out. If you have the capacity to do the 3 days i would 100% recommend (especially if you are lucky enough to get Lawton as your guide), just make sure to bring a pillow 😊

An awesome trip to Yosemite! Lawton was a great guide with a lot of knowledge :) Even with the weather changing so quickly he adapted the day so we still had an awesome time and saw great places!! Camp-site was great too but may have saved some driving time if we were in the national park.

Overall, this trip was excellent. The three-day itinerary allowed ample time to explore the park, and our guide Lawton was outstanding. He led us on many trails and demonstrated a genuine, passionate love for California and the environment. Along the way, he shared a wealth of knowledge about California’s development history, the geological formation of Yosemite, and could answer almost any question we asked. His expertise was impressive. Not only did he guide us through numerous trails, but on the final day of free activities, he also recommended routes. His estimates for the hiking times were remarkably accurate, matching our own experience. He also prepared our breakfasts and dinners, which were above average, and drove safely and steadily throughout the trip. Given the long driving hours required both inside and outside Yosemite, his endurance and professionalism were admirable. He was also very sociable and engaging, which made the journey even more enjoyable. One drawback was the campsite, which I understand was randomly assigned by the company. Unfortunately, this time we stayed near a roadside, and passing vehicles at night made it rather noisy, affecting our rest. Another minor regret was that due to the bright moonlight—likely close to a full moon—we were unable to see the Milky Way. Overall, despite these small issues, it was a highly memorable and well-organized trip.

I participated in Incredible Adventure’s three day Yosemite tour. 10 people took part and fully enjoyed Yosemite’s vistas, alpine lakes, Half Dome sunset, giant sequoias, and Glacier Point. This tour doesn’t cover all of Yosemite’s many attractions, but it was still a wonderful experience that let me enjoy the park to the fullest. The campsite was well-equipped, comfortable, and left me with no complaints. On Day 1, we left San Francisco and, after about a few hours, stopped at a supermarket to pick up lunch supplies and visited a local fruit stand. We also visited a grove of giant sequoias, which was truly impressive, before heading to the famous Tunnel View, which took my breath away. Our guide, Lotten, was extremely knowledgeable and gave clear and fascinating explanations on the bus about the park’s geology, environment, and challenges facing National Parks in America. On Day 2, we headed to the highlands, visiting domes and lakes at elevations of around 3,000 meters. The 360-degree views were stunning, and sitting on the rocks there was unforgettable. In the evening, watching the Half Dome glow golden in the sunset was deeply moving. On Day 3, the guide offered several activity options tailored to each person’s interests. I chose the most physically demanding one: a strenuous round-trip hike of about 9 miles to Glacier Point. It was absolutely worth it. From the top, we could see Half Dome, North Dome, and all of Yosemite Valley. Including a 30-minute lunch break, the hike took five and a half hours, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Of course, one visit isn’t enough to experience everything Yosemite has to offer. Next time, I’d like to visit the museum in Yosemite Village and try trails I missed this time, such as the Mist Trail, the John Muir Trail.

Marvellous experience for someone visiting Yosemite for the first time. A minimal of 3 days are needed to explore the area decently. Tehan was fabulous as the tour leader.

We were swithering whether to go on this trip, as it was quite an expensive 3 days, but we are so glad we didn't. What made this trip so wonderful was meeting like-minded people who were up for an adventure, but mostly, our incredible guide, Lawton. He was the most passionate, knowledgeable and impressive guide we have ever had. The introduction he gave us to Yosemite - the geology, the founders, and the current threats with climate change and the need to protect the National Parks was outstanding. There were no questions he couldn't answer, and we had a lot of them! Having all this knowledge enriched our trip to Yosemite. Our son Lewis (12) was in awe of how much he knew, and we all felt he was a role model for him. The 3 days were packed! Lawton took us to the main hitting sights in Yosemite, as well as less busy parts in the higher parts of the park. We had a rewarding hike up Lembert Dome, where the views were incredible. We also enjoyed a refreshing swim in Tenaya Lake, visited meadows and Giant Sequoias, and had a gorgeous sunset in Yosemite Valley, complete with a view of Half Dome, all accompanied by amazing Pizza and deer grazing nearby. Campfires were a lovely experience too. We also had free time to explore the more touristy parts of the park, such as walking the Mist Trail. One of our party had a bear experience! Thank you, Lawton and the Incredible Adventures Team *****

Had the best time over the three days. Our tour guide, Lawton, immediately created an atmosphere of adventure and fun. There was no question he couldn’t answer and helped involve the whole group by guiding us around not only Yosemite Itself, but the history of it as well. The food was great throughout - never felt hungry at all on the trip and lots of snacks are provided during the trails. Yosemite itself never disappoints and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Would highly recommend.
