Wow! What an incredible trip! My wife and I came to Peru on our honeymoon and we couldn’t have asked for more! The trip it self was challenging, but so rewarding. My wife and I had the most incredible time, we won’t forget. Our tour guide Dorgan was amazing, he was so attentive, knowledgable and funny. He made the trip so much fun! The accommodation was fabulous, the food and the chefs were brilliant and always cooking great food for us! I can’t put into words how good it was.

I had the absolute best time on this tour! I was in Dorian’s group, and he was honestly the best guide you could ask for – knowledgeable, fun, and full of energy. One of my biggest highlights was reaching the top of Salkantay, such an unforgettable moment, and seeing the accommodation on the second night – it completely exceeded my expectations! Our group must have been hand-picked because we all got on so well and genuinely enjoyed each other’s company from start to finish. The cooks were absolutely incredible, serving up a real feast every evening – I still can’t believe how much work they do, running up and down the mountains ahead of us to have everything ready. Huge appreciation as well to the horsemen for carrying all our bags and making it possible for us to just enjoy the trek with our day packs. 10/10 experience – couldn’t recommend it more!

Absolutely a life changing experience of epic proportions. Cesar Quispe Yanqui, our guide was a crucial part of that experience. His knowledge, his love and passion for the history and the culture, and his personality certainly made for the ultimate experience. The trip could not have been organized any better. The company, Cesar and the rest of the crew made for a five star trekking experience and I could not recommend them more than humanly possible. Will definitely do this again.

Unbelievable experience and incredible service - from the mule drivers ensuring our equipment stayed dry and arrived to camp on time, to the chefs preparing fantastic food, to the guides who made it an unforgettable 4 days filled with high spirits and tons of laughs. If any of my friends were to want to do the Salkantay hike I would suggest they go with Salkantay Trekking and specifically ask for Juanito & Edison as their guides. Juanito was absolutely hilarious!!! He kept the energy through sunshine or rain and took our experience beyond any expectations. Edison was incredibly kind, helpful, and always made sure to care for the team. 11/10 experience!

Highly recommend Salkantay trekking if visiting Machu Picchu! From start to finish, very welcoming and professional. Our guide Cesar was a class act, very well versed in Inca history and Andean culture. Accommodations were comfortable and food was excellent every day. The company made sure you were prepared for any weather conditions. Always looking out for you. Would do again! Very organized and we always felt safe and cared for by our team.

We had a fantastic time on our 4 day, 3 night trek through the Salkantay Pass to Machu Picchu. We were expertly guided by Fredy Apaza and fed by the excellent chef JuanCarlos . We never felt hungry and always felt support along the journey. Despite differing levels for athleticism we all stuck together and had a unforgettable experience.

Together with two friends, we did the 4-day Salkantay-trek and had the most amazing experience. The lodges were great, the food was super good and the views during the hikes exceeded our (high) expectations.
