Vegas to Hollywood: Unforgettable LA Star Power Day Tour

This was a truly amazing day. Well worth it. Don’t be put off by the distance/drive. It goes fast with many pit stops and Jose and Steve (who did the start of the drive) were fantastic guides showing us lots on the way. They also gave great tips on how to get the most out of your time there.

If your are a movie buff, this tour is perfect for you. The places we visited and our tour guide were all reminders of some of the best movies ever.

Steve was excellent! It’s a long day, no denying, but if you want to see the sights in one day it’s more than worth it. Clear instructions on where to get picked up from. There was snacks and water in the bus and frequent stops to nip to the loo and buy extras if you needed it. The roads are a bit bumpy at times, mainly the joins of the road over bridges, but it didn’t detract from the day. Part of the experience was seeing the various scenery on the way. The desert, the LA suburbs, the LA skyline and just seeing different parts of the US (we’re from England). Each of the stops was well planned, the burger was nice at Santa Monica and we even got to go past the Beverley Hills hotel. Steve pointed this out which was great for us as we’d seen The Eagles live at the Sphere the night before. Steve explained why you can’t get closer to the Hollywood sign but we found the upper level at the back of the shopping mall and had it pretty much to ourselves. We went on a Saturday which Steve said was better as there was less traffic and we even got to see a police car chase (I’m sure Steve didn’t arrange that). So yes a long day but well worth it.

It was a fun experience even on a rainy day. The tour driver was very knowledgeable about things that he knew.
