For centuries, Nuremberg was the secret capital of the Holy German Roman Empire, here the well-known Diets of Nuremberg were held, assemblies where the emperor of the Holy Empire met with the prince electors. For this crucial importance was chosen as a propaganda center during the Third Reich. Hitler considered Nuremberg the heir of the Germanic traditions, the capital of the congresses, wanting to keep alive the memory and the legacy of the powerful Germanic Empire of the Middle Ages in the Nazi structure. Such was its significance that here resided one of the greatest representatives of anti-Semitism of the regime, Julius Streicher, the owner and promoter of the weekly Der Stürmer. The city acquired the title of German city par excellence, being presented as the most loyal locality to the regime of all.

Vittorio was an exceptional tour guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly friendly. I can't recommend him highly enough! :D

An unforgettable and unmissable tour. While guiding us through important historical points of Nuremberg, Federico gave us a real history lesson contextualizing the situation of the Jews in Germany from the 13th century until the end of the second world war. Great!! I recommend 100%

The walking tour was amazing! Even though we have been visiting a lot of museums about this topic we learned a lot of new things during the tour. We enjoyed the focus on the details (e.g. in architecture, sculptures, etc.) as well as the background information on historical context and figures. The guide was super friendly and could answer all our questions. He was also very attentive towards possible language barriers but also made sure all of us were well and included at all times (e g. finding opportunities to sit and rest, bathroom breaks, etc.). We can fully recommend the experience!

I did two tours with the Hallo Núremberg: the free walking tour with Claudio and the third reich tour with Fede. Both were incredible. The guys are highly professional and have demonstrated deep knowledge of local life and history. And if you're passionate about history like me, you can't miss the opportunity to take the third reich tour. Just amazing.

It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon - Fede is very knowledgeable, fun and passionate about what he is doing, He carries a file with pictures to complete the stories as you walk through the city, showing the before and after buildings :) I live here for 2 years almost and didn't know a lot of things. I highly recommend it.

Federico is an extraordinary guide, he knows a lot about the subject and explains it very well. But in addition to the script that already has it very well prepared, you can ask any questions that arise, it is rare that it can not solve it. Great social skill, knowledge of history and a great help for visitors beyond the tour’s own theme. 10/10

Very good guide and must-see contents in Nuremberg. Not going is like going to Venice and not being told about the canals. Federico very knowledgeable and analytical.

Fascinating and very well guided tour; Fede explained the context of the Third Reich with rigor, respect and clarity, making the story accessible and thoughtful. An essential experience in Nuremberg.
