Recife to Maragogi: Private Escape to Brazil's Caribbean

Beautiful beaches, warm weather, a little old town, missing know the civic center, visit places with more history, but it is beautiful

We traveled in October 2024, as a family. We arrange transfer services from Recife Airport to Maragogi (Gran Oca) and also the return, from Maragogi to the airport. When we arrived in Recife, the driver was already waiting for us at the airport. We were with two adults and two children (from 6 and 8 years old), the vehicle that was waiting for us was a VW/Virtus. Transportation went smoothly and the luggage stayed well in the vehicle. However, on the return, the company sent another car, a Fiat/Gran Siena, but there was a gas cylinder in the trunk, making it impossible for the bags to fit. In the trunk, there was only one large suitcase (23kg), the other suitcase, also of 23kg, had to be carried inside the vehicle, which caused my daughter to have to accommodate with her legs on the suitcase, during the whole journey, which on average is two hours. The company did not contact to try to provide another vehicle, the driver warned us that if we did not accept that vehicle, we would lose the flight, because for another vehicle to arrive in Maragogi would take about two hours, adding to the journey we had to do of two more hours, the flight would have already left.

We stayed in Maragogi at the hotel Playa Dorada , The hotel is very comfortable and clean the persoal is very tenuous and the food very good. They are refitting it soon will have a more modern gym.The trip from Recife we did by car with the company Geotur, highly recommended in punctuality and attention in driving. The route gets a little heavy as in many sections there is a double yellow line, which does not allow overpassing. The beach of the hotel is very nice and quiet a few kilometers from the path of Moises , we went several times walking. The water has the ideal temperature and unforgettable views. We made several excursions one of them to the natural pool by boat and also visited some nearby beaches. We went to know Galhina port and Carneiro beach, the latter did not like much. The place is very quiet, it is to enjoy the sea and rest. We would definitely be back.

Helpful driver gave us many tips about Chicken Port, very polite and helpful giving us more comfort and safety during the journey.

I loved the natural pools!!! the beaches are breathtaking!! Warm, crystal clear water!! Point for the privileged location of the hotel, as you can walk to the natural pools of Cupe, for me the best beach!!
