Patricia was an awesome tour guide! She made this food tour one of the highlights of my Peru trip. The tour is well set up to intoduce you to three of Lima's neighborhoods. There's a nice mix of tastings, walking, vehicle travel, market visit, mini cooking classes, etc. so you're never bored. You get to taste all of the must-try foods (ceviche, lomo saltado, pisco sour, piccarones, among others). Plus, the lucuma milkshake was delicious and my new favorite drink!! The tour ends at Huaca Pucllana, so we chose to tour the ruins instead of going back to our hotel, which was a great to walk off the delicious lunch. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Patricia! It's absolutely worth the money.

This was one of the best food tours we have ever done! Carlos was truly amazing! Every restaurant/market/vendor we visited was even better than the last! We were able to experience local Peruvian food and also received a walking history tour as well! I would highly recommend this tour! Not to mention the food was DELICIOUS!!!!

We had an amazing experience with this food tour. The company was very professional and quick to respond when we had a small issue at the start with the language and the van. They fixed it right away and assigned us our wonderful guide, Patricia. Patricia was kind, patient, and so knowledgeable. She taught us so much about Peruvian food, culture, and local traditions. Each stop on the tour was well thought out and offered something special to try. You can tell the company really values having great guides who make the experience personal and meaningful. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Lima. I highly recommend this tour and especially Patricia to anyone visiting Peru!

We were a party of eight and it was our first day in Lima, we didn't know what to expect from our food tour, but we couldn't have been happier. Sue was great, the small bites walking through the city were delicious and the piscoe sour's didn't disappoint either. It ended with a fantastic 6 item tasting plus dessert at Huaca Pucllana. I think I can speak for the eight of us as I would highly recommend this tour.

We did the daytime tour with Kimberly. She was a joy to spend time with. She paced the food sampling and walking portions perfectly. Kimberly has a wealth of knowledge, but we really enjoyed our rambling conversation covering ALL topics. My favorites were the ceviche that makes all others pale in comparison and the class on how to make a pisco sour. We finished with a lunch at Huaca Pucllana restaurant set in the pyramid ruins. This is an amazing restaurant in an unbelievably historic location. The food was excellent. DO NOT EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE THIS TOUR.

We joined this tour, led by Patricia Vasquez, on arrival in Lima in order to familiarise ourselves with local dishes. We were not disappointed. All the food sampled was of excellent quality. Patricia was very welcoming, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Thoroughly recommend.

This food tour did not disappoint on my first full day in Lima. The company was communicative, and I was happy to find that it ran with me and just one other person. They were running a little late and after I inquired, because I thought I missed the pick up, they ended up calling me to let me know they ran into traffic. Carlos, our guide for the morning tour, was excellent, and we had a comfortable van to bring us round. He provided a lot of history to us in general, which I was eager to learn, and the historical context of the food scene. We started out in Barranco for these amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I actually wish I got the name of the breakfast place because I could not find that good of a breakfast sandwich again during my Peru stay. We followed through with a short walk around Barranco and had smoothie made from a local fruit. Our morning took us to the market to look and taste some amazing superfoods grown in the Amazon. I’ve never seen figs so big. We then had a pisco sour tasting/demonstration with a coconut cerviche. We ended our food tour with a nice mix of food (some chifa, causa, meat and wine) at the pre-Incan ruins Huaca Pucllana. The tour was well paced and gave me a diversity of dishes. We also ended on time, which I appreciated, because there was another place I had to be. I thought this was a great food tour out of the many options there and highly recommend it!
