Breathtaking Ring of Kerry: Killarney's Private Scenic Drive

Our driver and guide Shiela was absolutely amazing and made the trip 100% worth the money and then some. She was attentive to our level of involvement. Her recommendation were perfect. Her knowledge, wittiness, tempo and energy level was exactly what my father and I needed. When I say she made the tour memorable, I am not joking. I highly recommend doing the Ring of Kerry Tour and ask for Shiela. Bill New Hampshire USA

Private tour was a good option that allowed us to pick and choose what we wanted to do. We skipped the Kerry Bog museum so can’t comment on that. Sheep dog demo was ok, but $8/person seemed a little more than it was worth. Really enjoyed our tour guide Sheila and she was super nice, the intimacy of the private tour is nicer than being on a bus tour, but basically you pay something for entry at nearly every stop except those inside Killarney NP. Skellig Michael was interesting. Kerry Cliffs were awesome and we were shuttle to the top thanks to the private tour. Killarney NP was driven thru with just 2 quick stops and that was a little disappointing.

Tha tour was spectacular. Even in the rain the experience was enthralling. And our guide took us directly to the top of the Kerry Cliffs by car. We were gobsmacked by the beauty!! Shelagh was a terrific tour guide!!

This was a great tour. Vehicles was comfortable and our driver Deirdre was knowledgeable and absolutely amazing. Her local tidbits on history and fun facts of the area made the trip fun. The trip was tailored to our needs and was able to make the most of our time. This was one of our favorite tours. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful scenery! Interesting driver! Best part was the Cliffs of Skellig! We enjoyed touring Ross Castle and seeing the swans!

Our driver Sheila was amazing. Our girls miss her already and wish she could drive with us the rest of the way around Ireland, and then back in the States.

We enjoyed Sheila, our driver, and her flexibility throughout the day. The Ring of Kerry is a beautiful and scenic drive. Although there are some super narrow roads, Sheila managed them beautifully with confidence. We really enjoyed the sheep dog demonstration and our late afternoon lunch in Waterville at a restaurant right on the coastline with a beautiful view. We found a museum we’d like to visit that wasn’t on the itinerary and Sheila worked it in. The van was quite comfortable and we would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the entire area where the big buses can’t take you.
