Punta Cana: Unforgettable Catamaran & Snorkel Lagoon Escape

We purchased this excursion because of the lagoon and snorkeling. We were disappointeded that it wasn't a natural lagoon. There was a water pipe making the little water fall. Not what we were expecting. The boat stops were all very close together and we saw very few fish. The water was refreshing on muggy day. The bus ride to and from was ridiculous. Not only are the seats kids sized the isle was kid sized. It was a very uncomfortable ride.

Super friendly and fun staff. Made sure we all remained safe while in the water. Snacks were refreshing and just enough. Drinks were plentiful and good! Great trip!

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Punta Cana! The combination of a scenic catamaran cruise, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and relaxing in a stunning natural lagoon was simply perfect. From start to finish, everything was well-organized and smooth. The crew was fun, professional, and made sure everyone was having a great time. The snorkeling spot was full of colorful fish and coral—definitely a moment to remember! Sailing through the turquoise waters on the catamaran with music playing, drinks flowing, and good vibes all around made it such a special experience. The lagoon stop was peaceful and refreshing—a perfect break to take in the natural beauty. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy the sea, discover marine life, and just have a fun and relaxing time in Punta Cana.

It was wonderful. MotoMoto was and outstanding host and his crew made the trip very enjoyable. From the snorkeling to swimming in the freshwater lagoon, it was great! Would recommend!

Pickup was 10:30 but starts at 12:30. There are snacks but maybe eat before you come and/or bring something. With travel we spent 7 - 8 hours. Super fun experience. Staff were great. Would recommend.

Bring money for tipping....Fernando is a beautiful man with a great smile...and quite professional too...everyone smiled and kept watch for us....and we had a ball...our driver on the way home was ...whew... a wild card! The sargassum at the doc stank to high hell-o but this had nothing to do with the staff or the tour...and they took us to an area that had blockers up to keep out the majority of the algae bloom...so snorkeling and chilling on the sand bar was so fun. The cenote was amazing...be careful the rocks are slippery.

The staff took great care of us and made the excursion so much fun! The order of the day was different than originally told to us, but it all worked out. Great day!

Fernando was fantastic! The crew on the catamaran were fun and made sure everyone was taken care of. Snorkeling was probably our favorite part of the excursion. The lagoon is kind of cold, but beautiful. We'd definitely do this again.

This was soooo fun!!! Our guide, junior (motto motto) was incredible. Everybody on the boat was amazing. They made the experience so fun and encouraged everyone to break out of their shell and enjoy it as much as possible. Our tour had a young child on it and the guide made sure he was comfortable and excited. Totally worth the money and such a fun and immersive experience. Will absolutely book again when we come back!!! Thank you for an amazing first day here. Special shout out to all the people on the boat with us. Junior deserves a huge raises and appreciation. He truly cares about his job and the experience of those he’s caring for. Thank you guys so much!

The catamaran ride was pretty uneventful. The staff takes some nice pictures of you but they cost $80, which we did purchase. The snorkeling was boring. Nothing to see besides a few common fish and the sea floor. The lagoon was beautiful and a one of a kind experience. The staff was excellent and energetic and even went back to look for an old ladies glasses.
