This 8 hours, Dhofar mountain safari tour, will take you to a magical journey to the Eastern side of Salalah, where one of best landscape of the Middle East awaits you. Taqa Castle is one of Dhofar’s most distinguished landmarks, which was built in the 19th century. Taqa Beach and Taqa city will also be covered in this tour. Koofan House and Burj Al Askar are also in Taqa. The most popular valley of the Dhofar Region, Wadi Darbat will be your main stop. Here you will be seeing the seasonal waterfall, a spring where you can do boating (kayaking/paddle boat/motor boat) overlooking the mountain of Jabal Qara series. Visit Tawi Attair (bird well) sinkhole. Jabal Samhan is the highest point in Dhofar, which is above 4000 feet. From here the view is amazing and if you are lucky, you will see mountains passing below you. Anti Gravity Point and Wadi Hanna (baobab trees) also covered in the full day safari. Visit Mirbat Sand Dunes at the beach, perfect for sunset.

We thoroughly enjoyed the East Salalah Mountain safari. The highlights were the view from Jabel Samhan, and the baobab trees. Taqa castle, beach and town were fascinating too. Mohammed Almahdali was an excellent guide and driver.

Osama was our guide for this experience. He is a very nice person open to answer all the time at our questions. We have the time that we needed for each stop and Osama let us decide when we want to go to the next point. For people that are for the first time in the Middle East this is a very nice and interesting experience. Salalah and surroundings have a lot of beautiful buildings and landscapes.

I had an amazing tour of East Salalah with Ali Qahoor as our guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared great insights about the history and culture of the area. The trip to the east of Salalah was amazing! The guide Mouhamed Ali was friendly and mad the trip more enjoyable. The landscapes were amazing. The car was clean and really comfortable, which made the ride very easy. Everything went smoothly, and the operators were always there to answer my questions. I honestly enjoyed everything about it. A wonderful trip — I was surprised by how green Oman is! The kayaking was amazing, the views were breathtaking, and a big thanks goes to our kind guide Ali Quahoor. Highly recommended!
