Samuel was brilliant at guiding the tour. It was just my sister and me on the tour. He went above and beyond and showed us the hidden history and his belief about suspects and motives. Really recommended it.

There is a lot of walking and some areas are noisy. Due to the noise I missed some of the explanations. Our guide was entertaining and well versed.

Our guide Sam was very kind, friendly, and very helpful in answering the dozens of questions I asked him. He told us many anecdotes, showed us lots of photographs, and took us through the places represented in the museum. It was very fascinating to walk with him and imagine ourselves in ancient London, listening to many amusing and disturbing facts. I recommend this experience.

Very knowledgeable tour guide! A slow start but it was worth it, the detail and passion he told us of the ripper was spell binding! Pointed out details on buildings I’d have just walked past! The use of a projector and pictures brought it to life! Plus we finished in the Bell pub, what’s not to like!!

I wrote a separate review of the Museum and only booked into the Walking Tour because I thought the Museum sounded fun. Boy did I get that backwards, the museum was good but it was Sam, the walking tour guide, who really made my day. He was so knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about things related to the history of the area and to give extra context to the period in which the murders took place. He encouraged us to come up with ideas and ask our own questions and we had a wonderful experience as a result of his being so well researched as a guide and student of history.

Alan was an excellent guide. He has a great personality, very informative, and was mindful of the children in our group. He worked very hard. Very professional, and fun. Don’t forget to tip your guide.
