First class tour! David was extremely friendly & very knowledgeable about every part of the tour. From the moment we departed we were given so much information about the landmarks we were passing & this continued right throughout the day. Our tour guide David & our driver John made the day a wonderful experience, one that we won’t ever forget! Thank you David for making our day tour so memorable!!

Great day trip from London to take in some beautiful sites in the South East. Our host (Apple) and driver (Lucien) were very attentive and knowledgeable.

The guide was very good. The boat ride on River Thames, it was dark by the time we got to the boat. So could not see anything.

Oliver did a fantastic job. The time flew by. Our coach driver was excellent. So much to see. Leeds Castle was exceptional and we got in as soon as they opened. The Battle of Britain Memorial was so cool and we could see the white cliffs of Dover and all of the way across the channel to France. The cathedral in Canterbury was vast and filled with history, plus the whole city was a blast to explore. We finished in Greenwich and a Thames Cruise back to Westminster which was a huge added bonus. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience on the Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover, and Greenwich Boat Ride tour with Golden Tours. The whole day was perfectly organized from start to finish. Leeds Castle was absolutely stunning — beautifully maintained and full of history. The guide shared fascinating stories that made the visit even more enjoyable. Canterbury was equally charming, and visiting the famous cathedral was a real highlight. Dover’s white cliffs were breathtaking, and we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the view. The boat ride in Greenwich was a wonderful way to end the day, offering great views of the Thames and London’s skyline. The provided snack pack was a thoughtful touch — just what we needed between stops! Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly. The coach was clean and comfortable, making the journey relaxing and pleasant. Overall, it was a well-planned and memorable trip — perfect for anyone who wants to see some of England’s most beautiful and historic sites in one day. Highly recommend Golden Tours for their professionalism and excellent service!

Toured with Oliver and Alex. Thanks to Alex for getting us around safely. This tour should be renamed the scenic tour. Leeds, Dover, Canterbury were all beautiful as well as the countryside between them all. The shuttle bus was big enough for small parties and even had a toilet which fortunately went unused. It would be nice to get a photo op of Dover Castle if possible.

Appolonia, our guide, was amazing...she provided so much information on each destination, and she did it back to back in English and Spanish for our small but mixed group. The bus was not full, so we had plenty of space to spread out. Reggie, our driver, did a great job of navigating and getting us to each location safely. I would highly recommend this tour We had the perfect amount of time in each destination.

The guide, Stefan, was extremely friendly, and looked out for his guests needs the entire time. We had ample time at Leeds, Canterbury and Dover, but traffic caused our group to miss Greenwich. Because the size of the group was so small (13), we were able to take a luxury shuttle, not a large bus.

Due to traffic I missed an original tour I booked w another company; I ran into Danxia who was tour guide for this tour that was scheduled to depart which was perfect for me so I switched. I am so glad that I did, Danxia was so gracious and nice on top of that she’s an ultimate professional, she really takes prride on what she does, so knowledgeable about London and the places we visited that day, very well versed in Culture politics and history, I’ve learned a few things on this tour. Danxia treated us with utmost care and respect she checked in on each of us several times that day to make sure we were ok. Captain Ashley also a professional he drove the bus with care, in short I couldn’t be happier that I stumbled on this tour with team Danxia and Ashley, don’t have enough nice words to say about them, you will be in good hands if they happen to lead you on a tour. Learned so much about Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Greenwich. The nice surprise was at the end we got off the bus and onto water taxi to give us a chance to get a glimpse of London on River Thames, highly recommend this tour

The tour was good. The only downside was that half of the tour was in Spanish. Understandable, but lessened our enjoyment. When I asked if we could stay on the bus and skip the boat portion (mainly because of the difficulty finding cabs because of the Underground strike and rain) our guide argued with us saying that we would have no problem finding a cab. I know that not to be true because it took us 30 minutes to get a cab to go from our Kensington hotel to the tour at Victoria. In any case our driver, Kee, spoke up and said that he was driving past Victoria and was happy for us to ride with him. Kee was wonderful. When he found out that our hotel was close to Harrods, he said that was on his route as well. Kee was engaging, fun, informative pointing out all the attractions as we proceeded towards Harrods. He couldn’t have been nicer and was a godsend given the Underground situation. To give our guide credit, she was able to move our seats in the coach closer to the front. I am very hard of hearing and this certainly helped. The people in the rear part of the bus where we were initially seated ( because of the cab situation) never stopped talking in Spanish and one was obviously ill with a bad cold. So it was very good to get away from them. I give our guide full credit for our being able to move us. My only real complaint was her arguing with me when I asked to stay on the bus. That’s when Kee stepped in in offered to take us to within walking distance of our hotel which was on his route. Kudos to Kee!
