We were picked up from Victoria Center, so we had to get there via buses. Initially was hard to find the pickup spot so we had to ask, but once we knew we made it, we were golden. Kieran was our driver and he made a no nonsense type of impression. Although the half day tour isn’t guided, he did spend at least 30 min both ways talking about the country and city he loves, what he recommends and what is worth seeing and leaving, which we appreciated a lot. A few groups within our group didn’t follow directions when we arrived at Stonehenge, and he didn’t reprimand them but thanked the ones of us who did as we were told; we were rewarded w our wrist bands and released to the tour before the rule breakers were, which was slightly pleasing to us. 🙃 This tour was just the perfect amount of time to see and conquer and we’re glad we went. Booked through our hotel concierge and I think we got a deal, with a sack lunch included.

Fun half day tour at Stonehenge. Our tour guide also taught us a lot about the sites we passed along the way

Great trip, plenty of time to explore once at the site. Our driver Armando was very informative and gave us plenty of information as we left London. He also made sure we were all okay finding our way back from the drop-off point which is massively helpful when you're not a local. Thanks for a fab day out!

We had a great time on our half-day trip to Stonehenge! Our guide Armando was very courteous, helpful, and funny—a highlight guide of our weeklong London trip. He gave us lots of fascinating London trivia as we drove out of the city (had our whole bus laughing at points) and was very accessible throughout the trip. Stonehenge itself was magnificent and even with the half-day format of this tour, we were able to walk RT from the visitors' center to the site (not rushed to take the complimentary shuttle) so as to enjoy the local scenery + explore the center's museum before we boarded the bus again. All in all, would definitely recommend this experience in general and especially if your London/England vacation's on the shorter side & you want to fit in as much as you can!

Found the Golden Tour while looking for London - Salisbury - Stonehenge rail/bus tickets. The Golden Tour was a much better option. Pickup and return were convenient to the Underground at Victoria Station, within short walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Early afternoon return gave us a chance to see the Palace entrance then tube down to Tower Bridge before sunset. We thought the two hour stop at Stonehenge would be too long, but it turned out to be perfect. Kee, the driver/guide, was excellent! Gave a great running commentary through London, and on the way to "The Stone." Highly recommended.

Very interesting experience in Stonehenge. Our guide Armando is so kind and professional. He tells us about some interesting information during the bus travel. He also speaks italian very well.☺️

A full day tour would have been too much for my kids but this was perfect! We left at 8:30 am and were back in London by 14:30. After ariving, we were given a vegetarian snack pack with water, apple, crisps, biscuits, oat flapjack and water. It was great to have! As we left London, our driver, Kee, stated that it was an unguided tour then proceeded to give us fabulous commentary of everything we were seeing on the way out of London. He also gave us great insider tips for our overall visit to the city. I loved that he gave us a "nap break" once we had left the city and "woke" us up 10 minutes before arrival to Stonehenge. He arranged our wrisbands at Stonehenge and explained exactly where to go and what to do so that the whole process was easy and seamless. The visit of two hours was the perfect amount of time to walk around the stones, visit the interpretive centre, gift shop and even enjoy a tea at the cafe. We were then returned safely to London. It was a great half-day trip and I would definitely recommend!
