You will learn a lot about the people from different countries who came to settle in New Orleans, about the foods they brought with them, and where so many names came from. The variety of foods they served were excellent! It was a highlight of our trip.

Beth was amazing! Funny, witty, and full of food and history details that I love for a great food tour. The starting point was easy to find, the pace was nice and took care of our group well, the selection of food was good and gave us chances to purchase some gifts along the way. I wish we had been able to try etouffe and gumbo, not just gumbo, and that the server at our first stop was more friendly and that the gumbo was hot when it was served, but the flavor was good. The muffaletta and fried bananas foster bread pudding were stand outs for me, but the boudin was great too! It was a great way to have a progressive lunch while seeing some of the city. Thank you, Beth for the great afternoon!

Despite it being a very rainy afternoon, we really enjoyed the tour. Beth is a great guide and shared tons of information and history about not only the local foods we sampled but also the city itself. This tour is the perfect combination for for travelers with a limited amount of time to to get a taste of New Orleans. The tour does go off rain or shine, so be sure to check the forecast and be prepared with jackets/ umbrellas. Thanks for an enjoyable experience!

Great food, Great Guide Beth is upbeat and knowledgeable. The pace was perfect, enough time at each place to learn and enjoy the food. It’s worth trying everything, one will be surprised with the quality and taste. MAke this your first tour of your stay, so worth it.

Beth was an awesome tour guide. Her knowledge of the background of the local food was excellent. Her sense of humor is great and kept the group engaged. The following day we went back to a couple of the places to eat or purchase goods. Definitely do this tour if you know nothing of the local food and it is great to get Beth’s recommendations.

I learned so much about New Orleans history and the history of food in New Orleans while tasting delicious food! Dylan was knowledgable and friendly and very responsive to questions. I went on the tour solo as my husband was in a conference. There was one other couple on the tour. I felt very comfortable. I revisited many of the spots on the tour later in the day with my husband to enjoy cocktails!!
