Isla Mujeres VIP Catamaran: Snorkel, Open Bar, Unforgettable Day

Really awesome and professional. Everything in the description is included besides the dock tax per person. I wish we spent a little more time at the first stop to shop more but they were overpriced anyways so not that big of a deal. We paid extra to do golf carts, at the second stop, which was pretty fun and there are some small shops to buy souvenirs for cheap! They took pics all day, I was with a group of 6 so splitting the cost for all of them was not bad at all (I think it ended up being $6 each). All in all great day!

We had a great experience with this tour. We had booked the 1 PM boat for Friday August 8th and I contacted the company by whatsapp at the number they provided in the confirmation email the day before to confirm pick up time and location. They had a driver pick us up at 11:45am and also drive us back to our hotel upon completion of the boat trip (around 7pm). When we got to the marina around noon, a tour guide approached us and advised us that this tour is the "plus" tour, and for $30 USD more each person, we can have the VIP experience with a nicer boat, no kids, better party boat experience, better and more food options at the buffet and more time chilling on the beach as they don't take us into town like the "plus" experience. So we decided to do the VIP upgrade and it was very worth it and glad we did it. It was exactly as he described and the open bar and buffet were so good with a big variety of stuff. Also the boat was definitely like a party boat experience with music, drinks and dancing. One thing I can recommend is to pay any upgrade or the mandatory $45 USD dock fee in US dollars and not pesos because if you pay in pesos, they end up charging you more money. The VIP upgrade and dock fee for 2 people was a $155 USD, but if we were to pay in pesos, they wanted to charge us $3,100 pesos, which worked out to be $165 USD at the time.

At first arrival, they say you can’t use your sunscreen because it’s harmful to the sea life. Then they make you buy their “natural sunscreen” that’s over priced. Snorkeling was about ten minutes. On the boat they are pushing drinks but what you don’t know is they are reusing the ice and cups that people are drinking out of. Disgusting! The food was horrible and cold. I wish I could get my money back!

Good things: Staff, sailors and everyone else involved in the process was very helpful and accommodating. They kept the large group organized and safe to make the day flow smoothly once we arrived in Cancun. The boat was very nice and not overly crowded, the water and destination were beautiful. The food at the beach club was good, it was very much like what you get at the buffets at the all-inclusive resorts. Not so good things: We had to come from playa del carmen. We got a taxi to the pick-up point but were given no instruction on who would be picking us up from there so we stood around on a street corner hoping we could figure it out. We saw other people being picked up, the drivers would get out of their shuttles and ask for names of the guests so we figured that would be what would happen for us too, which was fine, but getting a heads up about this process would have been nice. Also, if snorkeling is the main point you are going to take this trip, I would not recommend it. We only got to snorkel for about 15 minutes. Everyone snorkeled in a line along a rope and then the boat moved and picked us up at the end of the rope and we were done. That was disappointing. I thought there would be more time and it would be a larger part of the trip. There is definitely time to do more snorkeling if they took time away from the beach club. The time at the beach club was 3 hours, which was a bit long even though it did include the buffet lunch. More time could be taken from this 3 hour block to allow for snorkeling and more time at the second beach destination (North Beach) which was much, much nicer than the beach club area and less crowded. We did walk about 10 minutes from the pier to a larger and more open part of the beach. Overall, it was a nice trip, just depending on what you'd rather do more of should help you decide whether to choose this trip or not.

There is a 45 dock fee per person that is not included in the cost of the trip. It was hidden in the fine print. Also we paid an additional fee for pickup and drop off from our resort. They picked is up and brought us to the marina but there was no one there when we returned so we had to find different transportation. I emailed the provider and was never returned a message about the transportation and did not receive my money back.

This was an amazing experience. The catamaran was fun, the beach at isla mujeres was great, but the best part was the golf cart tour. My catamaran hostess Daphne was awesome

Went to the catamaran tour to isla Mujeres yesterday and we really enjoyed the whole experience, our favorite part was the beach club. Very nice place, we recommend to upgrade your tour for the adults only boat, is very nice !! Special thanks to Samuel our host! Food is good and drinks are ok

This was our third time on the catamaran with this company, and honestly, we’ve always gotten a really good deal with them. The first time I went with my girlfriends, the second time with my husband, and now we’re celebrating my son’s birthday. It was a great experience once again the staff is always super attentive, and the catamaran we got this time had plenty of shade, which was a big plus. I think this company is one of the best catamarans companies in Cancún we’ve tried others before, and this one has been the best so far. Big thanks to Samuel and Julio for their help during the tour my son really enjoyed the snorkeling and the golf cart ride around the island. Highly recommended!!

Great time, would highly recommend. Took this trip with my 12 year old son who also had a great time.
