Prepare yourself for an adventure that balances the thrill of sailing Howe Sound's legendary winds with the breathtaking views of the Coastal and Tantalus mountain ranges. We will depart from the docks in Squamish (about 40 minutes north of Vancouver on the highway to Whistler) and raise the sails as we pass beneath the legendary Stawamus Chief granite monolith and Shannon Falls. Regardless of expertise or ability, you will learn about sailing and experience unbounded excitement as the wind fills our sails and accelerates our 40' sailboat across the waters of Canada's southernmost fjord. Take a turn at the helm or grind a winch to trim sails - the more involved you become, the more fun you will have. We will explore the northern section of the Howe Sound fjord and promise many photo opportunities that will stand amongst the highlights of your trip. With a little luck, we may even sight a pod of dolphins or Orcas! Welcome aboard - let's have some fun.

Everyone should experience sailing at least once in a lifetime. This is the trip to take. We booked the afternoon sail from Squamish BC. Rebecca and David were wonderful. They shared their knowledge about the area as well as teaching us all about sailing their beautiful boat. No worries about catching a good wind because it is always there!! The experience is perfect for families, couples, or singles. All of the passengers got to take a turn at the captain’s wheel which was exhilarating!!! It is a must if you are visiting Squamish.

This was, without a doubt, the highlight of a week-long road trip. The experience felt like stepping onto a beautiful sailboat with familiar family friends. Being able to help maneuver the boat and having such a hands-on experience really added a lot to the experience. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and pointed out numerous places of interest. Opportunities for swimming, wildlife spotting, relaxing in the sun, and great conversation really stepped up the overall experience. If you are on the fence about booking, JUST DO IT!

This was hands down one of my favourite experiences of all time! Epic views, salty air and pure sunshine but what made the entire trip was the crew! Ollie and David were sooooo fun and down to earth. My girlfriend and I literally didn’t want to leave the boat! I think I’m ready to invest in a sailboat. This one will be in our memory books forever. 🙌🏽

This was a fantastic experience! David and Oli did everything to make us comfortable while inviting us to participate in the actual sailing. I appreciated them answering questions and informing us about the area. I have visited Squamish for years but to see it from the water is truly special. I would highly recommend this unique experience.

A wonderful experience! My partner and I had an amazing time on this sailing adventure, the weather was perfect and we even saw orcas! David and Ollie were wonderful hosts who created a fun and knowledgeable experience. They are also incredibly generous as my partner and I had missed our afternoon sail but were fortunate enough to join the sunset sail thanks to David! I would definitely love to go sailing again!

We booked a sunset sailing and had an amazing time! Our crew (David, Michelle and Ollie) were friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure everyone had a great experience. We were lucky with beautiful weather, but the friendly atmosphere created onboard added to it. Whether you wanted to take part in learning about- and actively helping out with- sailing, hearing interesting insights about the area, and/or just enjoying the water and stunning views, you are in for a great time. I would absolutely do this again and recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable day on the water.

We had a blast on our afternoon cruise with Mike (captain) and Sally (1st Mate). They both were extremely friendly, making us feel right at home from the very start. They made sure we all got involved in the sailing experience from steering the boat, to help hoisting the sails and even taught us how to read the wind on the water. They adopted the cruise to our desire, taking us off to a swimming cove as the kids wanted to jump in. The cruise was the highlight of our stay in Squamish. Squamish is a place that has lots of family activities to offer and this cruise ranked #1 by us.

From the start David and Mindy were helpful and accommodating. The boat trip was thrilling, interesting, informative and participatory (if you wanted to participate). The location is spectacular and the sailboat the perfect size (there were 10 guests on our trip) for the location (a fjord surrounded by mountains and open waters).
