Cyprus Troodos: Paphos' Authentic Mountain Village Escape

Very fun! Full day of things to do, very nice people and good planning… Al over amazing experience to see Pafos!

Well organized and Angela gave great information about their history, current challenges and culture! We loved the mountain villages!

We highly recommend this tour which we enjoyed from start to finish. Anna is a superb tour guide and we especially enjoyed to learn from her about flora, fauna and culinary aspects of Cyprus, subjects which other tour guides don’t always touch (they seem to stick to history and geography). Anna’s all round knowledge and love of Cyprus is very evident. Andreas is a very safe driver in a comfortable minibus seating 20 people, and both Anna and Andreas are a credit to your company! This tour is also great value for money, as you move from place to place at just the right pace, from Aphrodite’s rock and walking on the beach, up into the Troodos mountain villages of Lofou and Omodos. The guide at the Lion Winery was great fun. We had an unexpected added bonus in Lofou, due to Anna’s great initiative, we were taken on a Christmas tractor ride all around the village, which was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed by one and all! Thanks for a wonderful day tour!

A good excursion overall. I liked wandering the streets of the small villages and petting so many cats! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided some great info about the history and people of Cyprus. Some of the other guests on the tour were quite annoying (talking through the wine tasting explanations and late to the bus). The waterfall was a trickle from a small stream and not worth the side trip there. Glad I did this excursion though and would do it again.

Excellent day out. The tour guide Anna was excellent, very informative and managed the pace of the tour to meet the needs of those who weren't quite as mobile as others, which was much appreciated. A great way to see parts of Cyprus - great value

Great tour with a bunch of interesting stops. Viola was a great tour guide and Andreas was the best driver! Long day but so worth it. Never felt rushed, had plenty of time at each stop. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Galina our guide we learned lots today in a clear and often humorous way. We were given interesting snippets of information about mythology, local flora and fauna, history, food, geography and the local population. After a visit to Aphrodites rock, our trustworthy driver Andreas, expertly navigated the winding narrow roads to the Troodus Mountains area where we visited local villages, a waterfall, a winery and monastery. At the winery we tasted, amongst others, a local blue wine! and locally produced olive oil. Overall a very worthwhile day out with great views and a convenient pick up and drop off at the hotel.

Wonderful tour guide. Funny, genuinely interested, and full of knowledge. Stunning landscapes (though the recent fire makes for some depressing areas).
