Cyprus Troodos: Paphos' Authentic Mountain Village Escape

Well paced. Occasional undulating walks/stairs. Informative, friendly guide. Interesting villages, quiet time of year to visit.

Highly recommend, very interesting and informative trip. Anna was a good guide and was very knowledgeable. Lovely to see a different side of Cyprus and visit small villages. The winery was also great and the sommelier there was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Excellent experience- well worth it. So many to choose from this one was a good choice. reliable, comfortable, learnt a lot.

The tour is exactly as described and very interesting for everyone with different interests. Guide and driver were great.

This requires a little bit of walking up/down stairs but not hard and I’m not very fit myself. Highly recommend this your, my highlight was the wine tasting as the talk was delivered with aplomb and humour and everyone was a lot chattier afterwards!! lol So pleased I did this on a quieter season as some of those villages were small lanes with cobbled lanes and I can imagine how busy it would be. Angela the guide was perfect in telling stories and providing updates along the way - made storytelling seem easy and all of it relevant and easy to understand. The driver- OMG! Outstanding skills in manoeuvring the bus round such tight spaces. He was a gentleman and always happy to help those not as mobile as the rest of us.

This was a great way to get a flavour of Cyprus. There was a lot packed into the day and nothing felt too rushed. Great for those who don't want to spend all day on one activity or want something that will have something for each family member.

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip through the Troodos Mountains. Picked up promptly from our hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us both about our stops on the tour and the history of Cyprus. The stops were interesting and varied. Our wine tasting experience at the Lion Winery was excellent sampling five excellent wines served by a very entertaining sommelier. We loved the traditional villages of Lofou and Omodos and this trip was well worth the money we paid for it.
