We had Jakub as our guide. He was wonderfully enthusiastic and friendly and answered the many questions we asked. Great choices of stops and good food. Had a lot of fun with him for four hours. Highly recommend the tour. No regrets!

From the onset, with a warm welcome and a shot of honey liqueur, we were guided by Mateus on this tour, and had a fabulous afternoon! We usually try and do a food tour in other cities we visit, and it’s a great way to find out so much more about local food and drinks, outwith the tourist traps. Mateus has excellent knowledge of the city, its history and it’s hard to say the highlight of the day, as everything was excellent. We tried potato pancakes with duck and plum red cabbage, sauerkraut cabbage soup, mushroom ragout, sheep’s cheese, to name a few, plus lovely Slovak wines and liqueurs and soft drinks. A very memorable day, thank you Mateus!

Bring your appetite! Paula was a great tour guide for our 5 stops and telling us about not only the food, but also the locations and Slovakia itself.

Incredible variety of food (and so much of it!). Paula was a fantastic guide, keeping us informed and well entertained with not just lots of fascinating details of the food but also about Bratislava and Slovakia. From being greeted with a shot of Medovina, to our final coffee (we actually had hot chocolate) via amazing soup and roast duck we ate and chatted our way around Bratislava. If you love food and good company then I thoroughly recommend this tour (and ask for Paula, she’s fab!)

We had a wonderful day with Paula on our food tour. We were the only attendees and were grateful the tour was not cancelled and it became a private tour. We were able to get to know her and find out about life in Bratislava as well as the delicious food.

We had a great afternoon enjoying excellent food and drinks. Paula our guide, was very knowledgeable and explained our dishes' content as well as their respective places in Slovakian culture. I think this tour is a "must" when in Bratislava.

My husband and I and my cousin and her husband took this tour with Jakub who was fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable. We loved this opportunity to taste various local specialties and this tour was one of our favorite things we did in Bratislava.

If I could give this tour more stars I would. Our tour guide was Jakub Slamka. His knowledge of Bratislava, Slovakia as a whole, and the traditions and history was truly impressive. He provided a wealth of information and fun anecdotes along the walk to restaurants. The food and restaurants were thoughtfully chosen and delicious. I feel like I learned so much. I am excited to return to Bratislava. I would recommend doing this tour day one of your trip to Bratislava to give you an overall knowledge of the area and Jakub sent a follow up email with suggestions of other things to visit. I will recommend this to anyone visiting in the future.

We booked the tour for 20 people and it was really nice and enjoyable. Jakob took us to four restaurants, explained traditions to us, and showed us important spots in the old town. All in all, it was a nice, entertaining day. The duration of about four hours was also appropriate and worked well. A varied tour for anyone who wants to sample the culinary delights of Bratislava.

Great food tour of the local cuisine. We really enjoyed our tour guide as well. He was informative and it was a nice walking tour of the city.
