Transform Ghana: 12-Day Immersive Cultural Expedition

This is my first trip to Ghana. The tours that we went on were very informative, emotional and enjoyable. The Continent Tour guide George Benson and assistant Emanuel were very knowledgeable and most of all patient with the group in terms of giving us time to shop. We were taken to restaurants outside of the hotel that had great musical entertainment. The hotels that we stayed in were comfortable and clean. The driver Kwame Boakey couldn't have been more skilled, driving the big bus through the crazy traffic. The young man Paul, always looked out for the last person and was a tremendous help at the Rain Forrest to climb the rocky path to get the 7 bridges. He held on to my sister the entire time and she was able to cross all 7 bridges. I can't say enough about the crew. They are all awesome men, with nice personalities. I would highly recommend Continent Tours and the same 4 men to everyone. My only suggestion is to factor a little down time. I would have liked to relax by the pool in the afternoon after a morning exertion, then go to dinner. I will rate the trip a 9, and the crew a 10.

The trip to Ghana was the best experience I have ever had. Our tour guide was fantastic and lots of fun. He was very informative about the different regions we visited. The bus driver was awesome along with the helpful guy that helped us on and off the bus. Great group of people.

My trip to Ghana was eye opening! My guide, George Benson, went above and beyond to make sure that our group’s every need was met. My luggage did not come in as planned and George made the extra trip to the airport ensure I got it! George has a wealth of knowledge about the people, culture, and country. His sharing greatly enriched my experience. He also had an amazing team - especially the driver - who was able to maneuver on some challenging roads. I’d highly recommend George and Continent Tours on any future trip to Ghana!

I left my heart in Ghana!! I left my tour guide/ my friend, my new son , Joshua in Ghana AND HE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! We/I had an amazing trip. We had a wonderful tour and our tour guide Joshua was exceptional! Each exciting day was planned with careful thought and planning. Although I had been to Ghana before this tour provided new and different memories. I want to especially thank our tour guide Joshua who made us feel special and like part of his family. One year ago today (May 2, 2023) we were in beautiful Ghana! I often think about our wonderful unforgettable experience and I cannot thank Joshua, our guide, and Frank, our driver, for being more than excellent employees of Continent Tours, but for becoming a part of our family. We use whatsapp to constantly check on each others well being and by God’s grace we are all blessed. Joshua and Frank, we will forever be grateful for the above and beyond care you took of our party of four and for the expert knowledge you shared about each region we visited. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and Joshua had the most beautiful cake made and delivered to the restaurant he suggested for the special day! The cake and the moment was just as I pictured it would be! Joshua and Frank made our naming ceremony and the door of no return experience personalized and unforgettable. Thank you! We did so much in a short period of time that I had to write it down to keep from mixing things up. And the greatest help was having our two tour guilds George and driver Martin. They not only took us to the sights but also talked with us and filled in the blanks. Thanks to a roomey van with good air conditioning, our small 7 person group was able to enjoy the long ride from Accra to Kumasi. So many pictures. So many tales. And the 3 different 4 star hotels, followed by the 7 different 4 star restaurants, made our journey all the more enjoyable. This was the most amazing, fun and educational tour. Our guide Martina was the best we could have asked for. She treated us like family and her knowledge of where and what we saw was exceptional. Our driver Samuel made us feel safe and what a gentleman. I will be returning to Ghana again and will ask for Martina and Samuel to be our guide and driver. The tour was a trip of a lifetime ! I have visited other countries on the African continent, however traveling with Continent Tours made our visit to Ghana so SPECIAL!! The history and culture came alive with our guide Martina and the local guides whom she engaged to show us their villages’ way of life. The museums, the ElMina dungeons visit , naming ceremony, cooking class , the bath of return and trek to the waterfalls, I could go on … suffice to say we felt safe with our courteous driver Samwell and cared for and catered to by our very “special adopted daughter” Martina her knowledge coupled with passion and specialized attention made this trip a true Homecoming for us from the Diaspora.
