Sandra was great, very open and she made the vulcano trekking a great experience. She also brought snacks which made the whole experience even better.

Jess and Ricardo were very knowledgeable of the park. They were super friendly and fun to be with for the whole time! The hike was great and the picnic too :)

A very nice trekking experience with Andy, away from crowds and big turist buses. Stunning views and good atmosphere 👌

Sandra (guide) was a joy. Our family previously visited/hiked in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, and Lanzarote's desolation looked similar/familiar. The hike wasn't overly challenging, ~4 miles, more like a mostly flat walk with a bit of climb to look down into a dormant volcano. Trail was very even and easy to traverse - athletic shoes are fine. Our family of four was paired with another family of four with younger kids (maybe 7/9?), and we all managed just fine. We hiked on Christmas Day, so not crowded at all. Windy, but Sandra provided heavy duty ponchos to anyone who needed which helped.

Amazing scenery and guides that gave us the history of the area. Jessie explained how the volcanos formed and how the different colors and surfaces were created. It was fascinating to walk through the lava fields and then inside the crater of the Volcan el Cuervo. Jessie was very knowledgable about the plants growing along the trail and explained what each one was and how they survive the harsh environment. It was the best way to see, touch, smell and hear about the volcanos. Plus we had a treat of local wine, goat cheese, and Sandra's grandmother's Mojo Rojo sauce - so we also got to use our 5th sense . . . taste . . . a complete five sense experience.

A stunning hike through lava fields and around volcanos. Get ready to learn plenty about Lanzarote’s natural history!

We had a brilliant morning hiking around various volcanoes. Erik is friendly, good-humoured and a fantastic guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the volcanoes and various types of volcanic rock/lava formations. We learnt so much in just a few hours, helping us to appreciate the amazing ways in which Lanzarote and the other Canary Islands were formed. We had a lovely pit stop for some delicious local snacks too. Erik could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lanzarote :)

It was an interesting experience and we learned a lot along the way thanks to a knowledge tour guide, however, the operator of this activity need to update the description to state that water is not included. I took limited supply of water having read the description and knowing that it would be provided but it wasn’t. Walking in 32 degrees knowing that I was running out of water made me even thirstier. I get that carrying water for everyone is not feasible but the guide could have offered it at the end of the walk if only they had a car to store it in. Misrepresentation is what it was.

Departure point
At the roundabout in front of the Monumento del Campesino, I took the exit towards La Masdache or La Geria. On the main road is the Church of Masdache. That will be the meeting point.Return details
