Phnom Penh: Unforgettable Genocide History & Memorial

Our tour guide Neng picked us up from hotel and we then proceeded to the Killing Fields and S21 Museum. It was only My partner and I on the tour. It was a very harrowing half day experience as you visually saw the devastation, complete disregard for human life and evil under the Pol Pot regime. 100% recommend to anyone attending Cambodia 🇰🇭 to learn about how the country is rebuilding and restoring peace. Also recommend our tour guide who was so knowledgeable and kind! we asked so many questions and he knew the answers and MORE to all of them.

I had the best time with Mr. Martin, who’s an excellent guide that allowed me to get a better perspective and knowledge of this country; moreover he speaks English perfectly. The tour included a visit to the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum (S-21), with Mr. Martin as a guide I had the opportunity to get a deeper meaning of what I was experiencing (which is hard and harsh), really understanding the tragic events that led to the creation of those museums. 100% recommended

Our guide Ran was amazing and told us all about the history of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge regime. He was really knowledgeable and great at answering all of our questions. He also told us about his own personal experience and we got to meet several survivors of the genocide. I would highly recommend this tour!

Very somber but interesting tour. Our Guide An was excellent. Our driver was also excellent. Highlight was hearing An’s personal experience having been born in the middle of the Khmer Rouge reign.

Such a somber but important experience. Ram was so informative and caring when sharing the stories of this terrible history. He shared his own stories and made sure we could ask any questions we had comfortably. It was a very sad day but such an invaluable tour and we would highly recommend the tour with Chamrouen.
