Atlas Mountain Oasis: Unforgettable Ourika Valley Escape

Really nice day out to the mountains, picked up from the hotel, the driver was knowledgeable about the area. Stopped off too see them making argon oil which was very interesting. Had a relaxing lunch by the river and a scenic view back.

Nice trip with very kind tour guide. Beautiful nature. we made some very interesting stops at the homes of local residents and workshops about the local bio spices and foods.

Aziz was the Perfect guide to show us around Ourika, very attentive and funny! Jawad was a funny driver, a good DJ and had a fresh haircut 😝

Jawad superdriver! We had the most amazing time there and back. During the trip in ourika we had a fantastic guide, Anwar, that made going up for the mountain 1400 meters worth the heat and 4 km. 5/5 stars!!

The day was fantastic. Started out with a drive to the atlas mountains with plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. Once we arrived at the mountains, our guide helped us up what started as an easy path. After we reached a certain point, we went on a bit of an adventure, clambering over some bigger rocks and steps until we reached the very top. After a gentle descent, we had lunch by the river under the shade, which was welcomed. No need to take additional water, as there were plenty of places in the berber villages to buy refreshments.

We went with Jawad to Ourika and had the best time of our lives. We laughed a lot on the way and he give good explanations off what we saw on the way. Great in English and French. I would definitely recommend you this trip. The way to the waterfall is a bit hard. You have to climb some rocks, but the view is stunning. It’s nice to have a small break from the busy Marrakesh to the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Thank Jawad for this experience 🙏🏼

An unforgettable adventure in the Atlas Mountains! Our trip to the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech was absolutely amazing — and not just because of the stunning landscapes (which were breathtaking, by the way). The real stars of the day were our incredible driver and guide. Not only did they make sure everything ran smoothly (seriously, not a single hiccup!), but they were also super friendly, helpful, and full of great energy. I honestly don’t know how they managed to drive those winding mountain roads with such ease and keep us entertained the whole time — true professionals! Whether it was answering our endless questions, sharing local stories, or making sure we had the perfect photo spots, they went above and beyond. I felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of. If you’re in Marrakech and considering this trip — do it! And if you get the same team we had, you’re in for a great ride (literally). Ten out of ten, would climb again!

Had the best time today. Driver (Jawad) was great and made sure we had so much fun. All the stops along the way until we reached the waterfall were well worth it and the climb up to the waterfall was fantastic. Definitely recommend this trip
