Marrakech: The Atlas, the valley DE the Ourika waterfalls

He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. His driving was safe and comfortable, and he went out of his way to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Booked this tour through our riad (Riad Armelle) in Marrakesh. Our driver, Omar was brilliant and exceedingly informative and fun. He stopped at interesting places en route to the Ourika valley and also stopped for photos. Our guide, Ahmed, who took us up to the Ourika waterfalls, was such a gentleman and so friendly. He took us on a circular route, which made the initial climb and then the subsequent descent easier for us and also gave us more amazing views of the different mountain ranges that make up the Atlas mountains & which they have to offer. We had doubts but we made a decision to escape madness of Marrakech for one more day. And no regrets at all! Omar was not just a great driver, he also was an amazing person to meet, with a lot of knowledge and a great personality. After this day trip a lot of dots on i about Marrococo for us were added. We also had another Omar as a giude to the waterfals, he was also a vey kind, intelligent person. The walley was quiet, and beautiful, especialy if you climb higher. I wish to come back to Atlas mountaims in late spring!

What days we had thanks to Omar, such a nice guy. A day in the mountains and an evening dinner in the desert. We had never been to Morocco before and knew very little of it, Omar was happy and willing to answer all of our many questions . Any requests we had, nothing was a problem. He got us a great guide for the mountains, also called Omar, a lovely guy. You would be lucky to have him as your guide and to stay at the wonderful Riad Armelle.

We spent an unforgettable day in the mountains. Our driver Jawad was very friendly and took us safely into the mountains and back again. Mohammed and his wife have welcomed us at their home and cooked deliciously. After dinner Mohammed offered to take us to the waterfall. We were twelve people, two of whom did not want or could not walk with us. The two were driven down by Jawad by minibus while the others enjoyed the mountains and the waterfall. It goes downhill quite steeply, which is why the whole thing is not for everyone, but there is also the possibility to return by minibus. Mohammed was very helpful throughout the tour and everyone arrived safely.
