Unlock Marrakech Magic: Medina & Souks Discovery Walk

We booked this tour through the Tui website even though it was not a TUI tour. It was good to have someone guide you around the Medina and Souks. The points I did not like about the trip were that the guide took you to a Chemist that sold remedies, this was good but by then we got the gist that it was all about him making commission. We then went to a so called factory shop, hoping that there would be no bartering but sadly there was. My son and I found the whole experience overwhelming and again it was obvious that the guide was making commission out of it. We found him quite rude when we tried to explain that we were finding the shop stressful. We preferred it when we could wonder on out own.

We booked this tour via a friend directly with Mouhssine after he already had a great experience in the past with this guide. We did the tour on the second day after our arrival, Mouhssine was very friendly and showed us the souks , koutoubia, bahiapalace and the madrassa. During the whole tour he gave a magifnicent explanation of the architecture, the ways of living, and gave us a great insight in the history of Marrakesh. We were very eager to know everything on the culture and he responded to all our questions with great passion and knowledge ! We couldn' t have a greater beginning of our holiday, a must-do for everyone who visits Marrakesh!

A fantastic day to start our holiday. Mouhssine organised this tour amongst many, each single tour was a triumph. Alya , our gentle guide met us, and took us on this amazing walk of the old city , the tour was full of colour, sound, smell, incredible opening, and introduction to Marrakesh. We stopped in wonderful places, and just did not want the tour to end. Alya was very friendly, knowledgable and a great guide. We loved the day, it will always be in our memory

A wonderful day, yet again organised by the amazing Mouhssine, wondering around the old city with our guide Alya. A mesmerising trip of colour, sound, smell, and sound. Our guide was very helpful, and guided us through this wonderful medina with nice stops. She was very informative, friendly and interactive. A day we will always remember.

Great guide with attention to us to make sure the tour was comfortable for our small child. It was informative without being too overwhelming and he made sure to check with us all along the way to make sure we were having a good time. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend to do on your first day!

My wife and I had a great time with Mouhssine. He has deep knowledge about Morrocan history, culture and present day social political environment. Mouhssine is also a great resource for anything Morrocan, including interesting sights and restaurants. We highly recommend Mouhssine.
