Unforgettable Hwange: Full-Day Big 5 Safari Adventure

The best experience in Zimbabwe, Simon is very kind person. All organized in detail. I recommend this trip to everyone.

We arranged a full program of excursions and experiences with African Beast Safaris, including a full day visit to Hwange National Park. The drive from Victoria Falls is interesting with varied scenery and a few bumpy roads. When we arrived at the park, our safari vehicle was waiting. It was clean, with drinks available. Our driver guide Ethan, was a joy to spend time with, and shared much knowledge during our time with him. The animals were plentiful and our picnic lunch was excellent. Overall an incredible experience. Thank you to all involved.

Brilliant day safari. Collected by driver at 0600 from our Vic falls hotel. A long drive of 3 hours, but interesting scenery on the way and an excellent driver Liberty, very knowledgeable and good company. Saw many animals, hippo, elephant, zebra, lion, giraffe and very fortunate to be the only group who spotted and watched a leopard. Very good hot lunch provided plus soft drinks. Guides very thorough. Back in Vic Falls by 8 p.m, only slightly late as Liberty took us via the Painted Fog rehab centre where we were able to have 20 minutes viewing two dogs they had there, recovering from a lion attack. A really worthwhile day trip.

If you're planning a trip to Victoria Falls I highly recommend Simon and Africa Beast Safaris. We had originally just booked a Hwange day tour with Africa Beast, but Simon offered to provide transport to and from the airport and helped us book activities for the rest of the trip as well. We enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, the Gorge Swing, a Helicopter Ride, White Water rafting, and of course the Hwange Safari, all of which Simon coordinated for us and each was an incredible experience in and of itself. Each excursion is operated by a different provider, but Simon arranged everything for us to fit with our schedule. In addition to being a great local guide, Simon was consistently punctual and professional and a huge help with making the most of our trip to Vic falls. Can't recommend enough!!!

Very good tour and would recommend it to others. Our main guide along with the guide specifically for Hwange were both very friendly and knowledgeable. My only recommendation would be that it should be mentioned on the booking site of the $50 fee if being picked up in Zambia.

I was a female solo traveler and l enjoyed it very very much! i was picked up from my hotel at 6:30 am in Victoria Falls and was back at the hotel in 7:00 pm. The trip to Hwange camp took around 2 hours. So in total we stayed in the park around 7 - 8 hours. It was enough to see everything! Simon was very friendly and helpful! I think l saw all the animals (elephants, giraffes, various birds, packs of lions, deers etc.) - apart from the leopard which is hardest to see! I really enjoyed it and l think it completely worths every cent!

Even though Africa Beast Safaris transferred me to another travel agency, they are also follow up the time pick up. Fortunately another agency are very professional too. The guide of the Hwange National Park are also very good.

We originally booked 1 activity with Simon - Chobe national park camping tour ( 1 night 2 days). We communicated remotely between England and Zimbabwe but he was always giving quick response to any questions i had. It was just very easy to ask questions and he has been very helpful and honest. So we asked Simon to help us with airport transfer, Hwange full day tour and original Chobe camping tour. He has been very punctual and very trustworthy organiser and helped us even with fixing some of our unexpected issues both in Botswana and Zimbabwe. Our luggage was due to be picked up from the lodge that we stayed but the lodge reception was already closed and our luggage got stuck inside. He helped us with all the logistics which wasn’t even his job but his mentality towards customer service is just exceptional and always made sure we were ok.Thanks to him, we managed collect our luggage very quickly. Even under this stressful situation, he suggested us to relax, leave it to him, and take some photos of sunset (this place had an amazing view for sunset! ) while he's sorting out our luggage issue.He has been always there for us. The quality of the activities is also fantastic. Boat cruise that we had in Chobe river with an amazing knowledgeable guide called Daniel, and it was pretty much like a private tour and it was not in massive boat. So it made it easier to ask questions to the guide, learned a lot about wildlife and we had great time there. Comparing with other boats we saw on the river, it was just perfect size to quietly be close to the wildlife and not scaring the animals off. Big boats are like 2 story ones but our one was for up to 11 people or so. While we were there, Simon was always there when we were back for dinner/checkin/checkout etc. So it was easy to share feedback with him. As we had a great time at Chobe but still wanted to go to Hwange, we asked Simon to organise a day before. Even though it was very last minutes, he managed to organised everything as he has great network in this industry and we again had a private tour to Hwange. We were with Ian, another knowledgeable great guide whole day and we had fantastic time again.We were so lucky and the first animal we saw was lions! His business is relatively new but his professionalism is far more than exceptional even for me knowing the top level Japanese customer service. I highly recommend him - and I definitely will come back and book with Africa Beast Safaris on other activities ! Thank you Simon for everything.

Me and my wife were in honeymoon here in Vic Falls. As arrived, we tried to arrange as many tours as possible but there was a problem with the Hwange park.The company the hotel contacted for first wanted at least 3 people to bring there. So Simon was contacted by the Hotel and he went personally there to explain to us the tour. Very professional. The trip is long at least two hours by car from Vic Falls to the Patk but it passed in a blink of an eye, since Simon is a very pleasant person with which to have a chat. Precise timing, availability and professional, we are very happy to have had this chance and to spend a beautiful time in Hwange park.
