Zakopane & Thermal Bliss: Tatra Mountain Spa Escape

Overall, this tour was well organized. By the far the best thing about it was the thermal baths. Zakopane was extremely touristy and not a place I feel like I needed more than a couple of hours to explore (although admittedly the weather was not ideal for a day in the mountains). One thing to note-you do need to bring flip flops or water proof slides for the pools. Also, they give you a wristband that you can charge purchases on and pay when you leave so you do not need to worry about carrying your wallet or phone in the pools. Again, overall it was a positive experience and one I would recommend. Our tour guide was also very nice and helpful

Milo our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. Communication was great even before the trip started, very informative on the journey about the tourist hotspot. Also very prompt and attentive throughout. Would highly recommend Milo and would definitely book a trip again. Thermal springs were great and very much needed, with an inside and an outside hot pool areas. The wooden houses were mind blowing and fantastic craftsmanship. The mountains were beautiful, even on a day of low visibility. The 2.5hrs stay at Zakopane town was plenty of time to explore the markets and to grab something to eat. -- Would highly recommend this trip, whilst it does say a 1.5hr drive, this is broken up into multiple stops along the way for toilet break, leg stretch and even a cigarette if you wish!

We had the most amazing day from start to finish. Milo our tour guide was friendly, helpful and made you feel so relaxed the moment you met him. The day was flawless from the very first stop, lots of time to explore with lots of explanations about what was going on and what we were seeing. Zakopane is the most beautiful town and I would say a just see for anyone visiting Poland, its totally different to the Old Town of Krakow and we were even lucky enough to experience some snowy mountains! For us, we even moved the trip by a day, so we could fit something else in during our time in Poland and the team could not have done more for us, the trip was changed within the hour of contacting them. I would highly recommend using them and will be keeping their details saved for any future trips we may plan!

Really enjoyable day trip. Good communication beforehand on pick up details and on the day Lara our guide was fabulous - funny, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. All helped make it a memorable experience.

Milo was on-time to our hotel and super friendly! This was a great start to a wonderful excursion. Then we picked up several other people and we’re on our way! We saw beautiful things along the way, learned some history, went to beautiful places, and had free time with his recommendations. It was a great full day!

So I just think that this was a very long boring day. The guide and the travel outfit did a great job. It’s not their fault. I am an experienced traveler and usually don’t do tours, but I thought this might be a good way to see a larger area with a guide. We stopped to see a typical Polish house from 60 feet away. Then we went to try some local fried cheese with a shot of vodka taste like cough syrup. I’m not slamming the taste because it’s a local fair. I just thought it was a little lame. Zakopane was like a shopping center. It was raining so that’s not their fault but again nothing but shopping or eating which I could’ve done in krakow. We finished at the Hot Springs, which was just a pool with 900 people in it. There were different tubs, but not what I expected at all. Again, I thought the young lady who did the tour did a great job. It’s just not for people who wanna sit on a bus all day and be bored.

Lovely trip to the mountains and the hot springs with an excellent guide and a nice small group. It was good to see more of this lovely country.
