Anna was great and the tour guide told us that most things in the salt mine were made out of salt. Shame the guide said the lake was artificially made for the tourist experience. Could have at least made something interesting up.

We would have rated this experience 5/5 as Anna our guide was excellent from start to finish. However, we were disappointed with the lack of communication from from Discover Crackow prior to our visit.

Fantastic experience. Anna our facilitator was brilliant. Picked up on time from our hotel. Coach to the mine and a tour thereafter. Lots of steps but very interspersed. Must do in Krakow!

I really wasn’t sure what to expect as I heard there was a lot of steps, which indeed there are, around 800on the tour but mostly going down. There is a lift to get you out. Apart from the long downstairs start, everything about this tour was amazing. The guide spoke really good English and was very knowledgeable. He made sure we were all together once we had made the main descent. It was a very short distance between each area of interest, some of which were totally amazing. The quality of work by the untrained miners creating sculptures has to be seen to be believed. The work in the final chapel was stunning. Once again the organisation by the company could not be faulted.

Brilliant trip and superbly lead by Anna. Everything went extremely smoothly and Anna’s use of WhatsApp made the experience stress free. The initial 320 steps into the mines tested the thighs, but was worth it. Very informative guide led us through the mines.
