We took this tour at the beginning of October 2025 as a couple. We reached the meeting area on time, and our guide was there. The weather was pleasant as we selected the 18:30 option. Our guide was knowledgeable, but strict like a teacher and not fun at all. She gave us good information about the history of the places, but she was serious. It was quite hesitant to request her to take our pictures. We noticed she skipped some places which were mentioned, and did not show the night market even though it was a Sunday. At the end, we stopped at a food court and we were given some cash to eat. She asked to leave early as she had to visit someone at the hospital. We sympathised and agreed, but we felt betrayed by WanderSiam. It was one of the worst tours of our trip and not worth the money at all.

Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the temples. Each temple had unique features and interesting stories to learn. Riding in the open air Tuk Tuk gave us the opportunity to cool off between temple visits. Even at night, it was still hot. You must remove your shoes to enter each temple, so best to wear socks with your shoes, not sandals. The night market had amazing food choices! Everyone in the group chose something different to eat and loved their food. The guide gave us each 150 baht to spend for dinner. There was live music to enjoy as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour around the city, Saman was very knowledgeable and made the experience memorable. The food included with the tour is incredible and there’s loads more food to try from the other vendors

We had Jane as our tour guide and Hasan as our driver on our tour tonight. We weee expecting it to be a group tour and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was just us! We were greeted by Jane and given cold water and an overview of how the tour would go. Tuktuk is the best way to get around, not only for traffic but you see so much more of the city, Hasan was a great driver we felt really safe! The tour was amazing, we walked at our leisure throughout the temples and Jane talked us through everything, and gave us so much information and welcomed all our questions, and took the best photos! She then walked us around the night market and made recommendations for food, that we would never have chosen ourselves. We could not recommend this tour highly enough!

Wander Siam is a new tour company in Chaing Mai. Their licensed tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide Jane shared so much information about Thai history, culture, and religion. Jane's English is excellent. I love that I learned new things ten days deep into my Thailand adventure. Our 6pm tour was attended by just my friend and I. We had the tour to ourselves. 6pm is a great time to ride around in a tuk tuk after a long hot day. The breeze blowing in our hair was lovely, and the rain never impacted our experience. If anything, it felt good. Going at 6pm is the sweet spot if you are looking for dusk lighting as a backdrop to your temple photos. Everything glows. It seemed like nothing was crowded. The tour ends at the night market. I was tired after a full day of exploring Chaing Mai. Markets can be daunting if you aren't used to crowds, new foods, or new currency. Jane walked around the street food stalls with us, making sure that we knew what local cuisine was, and communicated with vendors on our behalf. When booking this tour, it's important to understand where it starts, and where it finishes. For us, the starting location was easy to find, but a twenty minute walk from our hotel in old chaing mai city. The tour ends at Chaing Mai's night market, which is at least two miles from our hotel. It felt challenging to figure our way out of closed crowded streets in an unfamiliar location. If I could change anything, I might like transportation to/from our hotel. I would also like a map of our stops. I've seen so many temples that I am having a hard time keeping them straight!

Tour was amazingly timed with the weekly Sunday market going on in the midst of the tour. Very unique experience and Katie was very fun, bubbly and knowledgeable.

This was a cool two hour tour ending with dinner. We saw some cool temples and learned about the history of Chiang Mai and culture behind it. We got to experience tuk tuks and see the city. Ending at a Night Bazaar walking distance from the Marriott, Intercontinental, and other big hotels. The tour guide assisted us in ordering dinner to ensure we got what we wanted. It was a great experience I recommend for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Fantastic evening viewing amazing temples around Chaing Mai with the equally amazing Jane my guide. She told me so much about the history of each temple and about Buddhism. Highly recommend the tour - something extra special travelling by tuk tul at night.
