Unforgettable Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise & Cocktails

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always making sure our glasses were full and we had plenty of delicious snacks to enjoy. The unlimited drinks option was fantastic—great wine, local beers, and festive cocktails made it feel like a true holiday celebration. The bites were fresh and flavorful, and there was a great mix of Dutch favorites and seasonal treats.

This boat cruise was the perfect thing we needed after hours of walking. We went around 6 pm, and the weather was great, the crew was so nice and informative, and the tour guide, Kirsten, answered every curious question their guests had. She is an amazing storyteller who entertained us with history, anecdotes and useful information about her wonderful city. The ride itself was so pleasant, and we took some great pictures along the way. The cool thing about it is that you can enjoy drinks that can be purchased on the ride. I recommend everyone who visits Amsterdam for the first time, or if they have been there already but never took the boat ride, to take one, because it gives an utterly new perspective of the city and it's worth seeing.

We were enticed by the pretty presentation of their boats and so chose to book with them. It's only a 1 hour cruise, so it goes really quickly and it's probably best not to book the unlimited drinks version, as there isn't much time to drink that much! We chose the one where you can buy a drink if you want. Pretty cool cruising through the canals, however, the 'guide' wasn't particularly informative and we had great trouble hearing him as he faced only one way the whole time, and we were seated behind him. The skipper was very competent and she tried to inform us of some interesting facts but the conflict of both of the staff talking at the same time made for a muddled experience! I am not sure if the guide was 'miked' but he should have been. A nice to do trip though overall.
