Rome's Dark Side Ghosts and Legends Tour

This tour was a great way to spend an evening learning about the off color side of Rome's past. Everybody has a good idea about Rome's typical historical stories, but the ones told on this tour were possibly even more enthralling because they are unknown to so many. Our guide Arielle was a fantastic story teller and you could tell that this was a passion of hers.

Rome is such an old city you know there is tons of dark history. This tour showcases that side so well. Our guide, Arielle, was the best. You could tell she had a passion for showing the dark side of Rome. Her stories were so cool... full of brutal history. Even though this was a walking tour it was really easy and lots of fun. In fact we passed by so many hidden restaurants that were packed so we are planning on retracing our steps for some good eats. This is the best tour for making the most of Rome at night. My teenage kids & I loved it. If there is a second part of this tour I am all over it.

Alethea was awesome! She did a really good job of adding small bits of history throughout the walk, in addition to the spots where we stopped to check out interesting places. The tour felt well paced, had a stop in the middle for drinks and a restroom break, and we had an awesome group. She is engaging and super fun! Highly recommend this tour!

We have done a number of spooky tours in various locations and the tour with Ben was one of our favourites. Ben was a great guide, really knowledgeable of the area and a great story teller. We look forward to attending another Dark Side tour when we return to Rome!

Very interesting tour that was well worth it. Our tour guide Arielle was amazing and very engaging. Was a great way to see the city in a different light and explore some places we might not have without this experience. Definitely recommend!

ivana was super knowledgeable and friendly, and told the stories in super interesting and engaging ways. the tour felt like it flew by, even though i feel like i learnt so much!! the tour didn't feel rushed, but i do wish we had more time to learn even more!! thank you so much ivana for being such a great guide, if you ever do a 4 hour ghost tour let me know and i will get on the first flight back to italy!

Nice tour with some interesting history you wouldn’t necessarily get from the standard walking tour. Rome is excellent at night, as well — less crowded and hot. I wish I did the tour earlier in my stay because the guide had good recommendations.
