Unforgettable Nagarkot Sunrise: Scenic Hike & Himalayan Views

I did the Sunrise hike and view and it was spectacular, the hike itself was breathtaking! The people were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was very jovial. Special thanks to my guide Shishir who had great knowledge on history, culture and the natural fauna of the area! Highly recommend this hike!

Shishir was absolutely amazing. We got to Nagarkot way before sunrise and did a 4 hour hike after a lovely breakfast. Shishir was kind and super knowledgeable! I walked away with a heavy understanding and appreciation of the local culture, religions and more! I highly recommend!

Watching the sunrise at Nagarkot was absolutely breathtaking, and our guide made the trek smooth and informative. During the journey, we were able to enjoy the charming villages, stunning natural scenery, and beautiful temples along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Nepal’s culture, nature, and temples, and was attentive and professional throughout the trek. The transportation and overall organization were reliable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Overall, it was a well-organized and memorable trek, and I highly recommend their guiding services.

We had.a good day but unfortunately were not blessed with the weather - it poured with rain the whole time and we actually cut the hike short - this was completely our choice, Shishir our guide was more than happy to carry on but left the decision with us. It was so cloudy that we did not even see the sunrise. Our driver was excellent - the roads driving up to Nargarkot are extremely twisty and narrow but he drove very carefully and we felt safe at all times. The car was very clean and comfortable, so much so that we felt guilty getting in to it after our hike as we were so wet! Shishir was very accommodating and friendly and even took us to a cafe for drinks and a local snack near the temple as we had finished the tour early due to the bad weather. Communication before the trip was excellent so would definitely be happy to use them again.

The Nagarkot sunrise was the perfect way to start the morning off with a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains and the vast valley of Kathmandu. I felt extremely fortunate to spend my day with Shishir, my tour guide, as he was nothing short of kind, friendly, and welcoming. With his expansive knowledge, I found the most rewarding part of the day to be walking and learning of the local villagers way of life. Shishir made the walk interesting, engaging and colourful with culture. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough, especially Shishir, it was definitely a highlight of my trip!!

We had a great time on this walk with Madan. Making it to the sunrise and seeing the Himalayas was incredible. The walk also took us around local areas and temples. Madan was very informative and made our day a great experience. Definitely recommend this day trip and Madan.

This was one of the best day trips I’ve done. Amazing, immersive experience and my guide Shishir was awesome. Sunrise, traditional Nepalese breakfast if you would like to try and an amazing hike. I loved it. Highly recommended if you have a day to explore.
