Any visitor to Athens needs to visit the Acropolis and we chose this tour because of great reviews. Our guide, Margaret, was very friendly, considerate and knowledgeable. We had beautiful weather and perfect temperature. We were very glad to avoid doing all the climbing in the heat of summer. We did the full tour including the museum, which made it quite a long time and a lot of standing. If we did it again we would probably do the museum separately with a break between.

Excellent tour, well-organized, great communication, good pace. Very good amount of information without overdoing it.

Lots of information packed into a two hour tour. Knowledgeable, clear and often humorous guide. Perfectly paced. A very enjoyable tour

Definetely worth the price. The guide was very engaging and full of stories. We couldn't tell the time pass by. I Definetely recommended this tour, we learned a lot about the Greek Culture and history. Anna was very well versed with everything, you should also take the tour of the museum. Overall, one of the best experiences. Athens is not complete without a guided tour.

An absolute must do experience for first timers in Athens! Our guide, Selena, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Acropolis and ancient Greece. She was very personable and accommodating to the needs of the entire group (~15 of us total), and was always eager to answer any questions we had. Yamas, Selena! The price for the combination of the guided tours of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum is quite fair, considering the amount of time you spend in both locations. Don't be daunted by the climb! There are plenty of rests along the way while your guide interprets what's in front of you. Be mindful that there are no restrooms at the top of the Acropolis (~2hrs without), but there is an opportunity to go before the tour begins. All in all, an unforgettable experience that should not be missed!

Excellant tour delivered by an informative guide. Great value for money. The walking distance and climb was fairly easy

Selina was a fantastic guide. She was very informative and the trip was just the right length of time for my teens.

Our guide was considerate in taking breaks up the steep climb, finding three locations where we could catch our breath and she could share history. The surprise was our excursion ended at the peak (the Parthenon), and we were left to find our way to the exit and descend. We found this one way excursion unusual. We had a great day, but were a bit startled by the end point. Half of the group had prepaid and continued on with the guide for the 2nd half, or an additional 2 hours.

What a wonderful experience it was having John the archeologist introduce us to the Acropolis and Parthenon. His enthusiasm and passion for the architecture, history and culture brought it alive and taught so much. With it all, he brought humor, a deep knowledge and a love of Athens and Greece. I enjoyed the tour so much that I signed up to join the museum tour with John. The museum is magnificent and rounds out all that you have seen on the tour. I highly recommend having John the archeologist as your tour guide. Bravo!!
