Unforgettable Athens: Private Myth & Ancient Wonders Tour

Our tour guide, Costas, was amazing. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that he was able to bring the history of the area to life. You need to be aware that it is a very physically demanding walk. I’m an out of shape 50 year old that could do it. But I certainly slept well afterwards. Overall an awesome tour.

We had a wonderful time with Alex who gave us a well planned tour of some of the most important sights in Athens. He was full of interesting stories about the ancient city as well as the modern and answered all of our questions and more! His knowledge of Greek mythology was unending and really brought all of the sites to life. Would highly recommend!!

The guide was utterly exceptional. It was like doing a tour with the smartest friend you have. Was able to be flexible and make tactical decisions depending on the crowds and chose the best food for lunch. Highly recommended.

I have no doubts that the guide we had the day of our visit does have a sound knowledge. However she didn’t speak English quite fluently, which made it a bit difficult to engage with her or at times to follow her explanations. Usually I don’t mind that, but this tour was not exactly cheap (around 100€ including the Acropolis tickets). The sites were impressive, and the tour actually was quite promising, but I couldn’t fully enjoy it because of the language barrier. Which was a bit disappointing.

This trip covered all the must see site in Athens. The guide has excellent knowledgeable behind the sites.

The tour was complete, dynamic and interactive. The guide is an archeologist from Athens, with so much to tell about the sites and links with mythology. Her talk was nevertheless adapted to our group. A 4-hour tour might seem long but it wasn't al all. It's just the perfect timing to visit the main sites and understand the history and mythology.
