Luxury Sunset Escape: Private Poseidon Temple & Sounion Riviera

This is a totally worthwhile and magical experience! A beautiful drive out of the city into the beautiful coastline. A nice snack and beverage before walking up to the Temple. Truly magical as the sun set. Great opportunities for photos at all phases of the trip. Our guide planned the perfect spot for our dinner afterwards at Merida. Delicious food with a cozy fire. Peter Kleiofis was the consummate host and guide. Stopping along the way, showing us sites and had wonderful conversations! He was gracious and professional and was outstanding at providing us a first class experience! THANK YOU PETER!!!!

Opt to do dinner after sunset at the local restaurant - the fresh fish should be a first choice. Also, it going to be windy, so dress appropriately. The vistas are wonderful and enjoy the seashore as you drive along the coast.

I can understand that repeating the same information might get routine for some guides…. BUT NOT TAS! His obvious admiration and passion for Greek history takes you beyond the regular tourist experience. Yanis was a fabulous driver for our tour and gave us extensive background on Athens, Greece, Greek mythology, and anything we asked him about related to Greek history. He was accommodating and tailored the trip to our family’s needs. He helped us find a great restaurant after the tour. We highly recommend him and this tour.
