Really appreciate for Tasos the bus driver to drive us to Meteora, no matter there were road blocked due to farmers protest. Maria our local guide was so friendly and professional explaining about Meteora, monasteries, and the caves. Thank you!

Amazing day trip to the stunning Monasteries of Meteora. A trip to not miss .. very peaceful and beautiful place.. our guide Clement is very experienced and educated guide who has alot of information to share with us..he is kind and friendly and he was making sure that everyone feels comfortable and welcomed..one of the best guides i have met .. thank you so much for showing us that heavenly Meteora.. highly recommended Tour

We just completed a wonderful ATHENS Walking food tour with our guide Adele. We ate wonderful treats, Greek dishes, and sampled several Greek olive oil and salad oils. All four of us were too full to finish the last tasting of gyros. Also saw the fascinating Athen’s Open Market. Thanks for offering this great adventure.

Excellent and informative. Our guide Clement was outstanding, knowledgeable, and made our visit fun! He shared historic and religious facts that helped our group fully comprehend the significance of the Meteora Monasteries.

This is a long day for young kids but it was an amazing experience! My kids really enjoyed the experience. At first we were worried it might be too much hiking but it was reasonable. Also, the length and content of the tour was perfect.

You'll definitely want to check the weather forecast before taking this tour-- or not. Also, the lunch was not very good. The busses are not comfortable at all.

Tremendously good guides. Very helpful too. When I forgot to bring cash for the monasteries, a guide kindly drove me to an ATM, so I could make it in time for the bus. Very well organised organisation.

Be prepared for a long bus trip but don't let that put you off. The scenery enroute is stunning. Motorway stops to break the journey. I thought the climb up all those steps to the different monasteries would be too difficult for me, as I'm in my 70s. but it wasn't difficult.
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Service animals allowed
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Departure place: Athens Train Station (Larissis Station) be there at least 15 min before the departure of the bus at 08:00 am exactly
- There will be a sign “METEORA THRONES – TRAVEL CENTER” on the window of the bus , waiting outside the train station on the road across the street from the train station.
- Supplier is not responsible if you miss the bus please be there on time
- Your guide will be waiting for you upon your arrival at Kalabaka Bus stop
- Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. For ladies skirts by the knee or longer are required. No pants for ladies, no shorts, no sleeveless shirt. For men sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee are prohibited.
- Please make sure you have cash for the monasteries 5 euro each entrance. There is no ATM machine in the area.
