Monet's Giverny: VIP Garden & Gravesite Half-Day Escape

This was my second visit to Giverny and Monet’s house and gardens. It was a lovely trip and Etienne was a fabulous, knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend!

Our guide Jon was wonderful! He guided a great tour and was very welcoming. He allowed do share and story and picture of Monets blue eyeglasses he used later in live to compensate for his cataracts.

A wonderful half-day trip to Giverny! The gardens and Monet’s house were absolutely beautiful. Big thanks to our guide, Michael, for sharing such interesting insights and helpful tips that made the visit even more enjoyable.

Thought the host was great, would have liked more explanation of the garden and why he chose certain flowers, but the host was very detailed and pleasant.

Our small group was congenial. Our guide Marceau was informative and very personable. It was a very grey day out but the gardens were beautiful.

My husband and I have been looking forward to this tour since we booked it in August and it exceeded our expectations! Our driver and tour guide, Mauris(?) was delightful and shared a wealth of facts and anecdotes. As a retired elementary art teacher/painter, Monet has always been one of my favorite artists and I loved teaching my students about him, but I learned so much more on this tour. Being able to walk through his amazing gardens and art-filled home, Monet's life and work really came alive for me. Stopping at the church and family grave was the perfect way to end our tour, though it didn't really end there; our group was able to ask more questions and have lively discussions all the way back to Paris. M even played wonderful French "mood music" to set the vibe! The whole experience was perfect, from our pickup to drop-off. I can't stop thinking about all of the beautiful flowers, bridges, trees, paths, water features and of course Monet's house itself. I highly recommend!

Absolutely superb in every way! This was the highlight of my brief trip to Paris. Our guide/driver, Marius, was engaging, informative and entertaining. He made it a smooth and pleasant experience all around. Being in a small group and having "skip the line" access made a big difference, too. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Well worth it- a one hour drive to the idyllic village of Giverny and Monet’s garden and home. Our guide was cheerful, humorous and informative.

Despite an overcast grey day, this tour met and exceeded expectations. Guide was knowledgeable with additional information provided when asked. Splendour of gardens, with leaf colour change, particularly around water lily pond had wonderful ambience. Would recommend a trip out to Giverny for art lovers, gardeners and historians.

Augustine was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave great background information about the Normandy region.
