The experience of visiting Giverny and the house of Monet is a worthwhile excursion to take. The town is beautifully quaint, as is the house of Monet. Our driver, Frederic, was the best you could ask for. Pleasant, congenial and very informative. He seems to truly enjoy his job, which in turn, made for a great day.

Wonderful, informative driver Frederick. By the time we arrived in Giverny we Had enough information to be able to enjoy Giverny and the gardens and home. Bravo to all who helped make this trip monumental from pickup to drop off. B & B West DE, USA

Nice drive out to Giverny. The driver was friendly and professional. The video we viewed on the way was very informative. The whole trip was well coordinated. This time of year (Oct.), Giverny was empty which made our visit very enjoyable. The gardens are beautiful and worth the trip .

Excellent service. Frederic was an excellent driver & tour guide. He was full of a lot of knowledge & pointed out sights while in Paris & Giverny. Highly recommend him

We had a problem with the driver. We mistakenly exited the Monet property after leaving the restrooms, following the path to the gift shop, and before we could even begin our visit. After retracing our steps we crossed paths with the driver. He immediately recognized us as being part of his group, but then raised his voice and repeatedly admonished us for leaving the grounds. He did in fact tell us this (about re-entry) before we headed for the restrooms but we unfortunately went the wrong way. Based on his visceral reaction, I’m guessing this has happened to his ‘guests’ before. It is a shame he has to tolerate (stupid - my words) tourists. Other than this, the tour was wonderful. Note: He did ensure our re-entry - although I do think this could have been easily resolved had we been given either e-tickets or paper tickets.

If you love Monet and/or gardens then this is a must do tour. I like that it’s a small group, 6 on our tour. Either you’re picked up at a local hotel or go to a meeting point. We’ve done this tour 4 times, every time we go to Paris and the garden is always changing due to different months or weather, wet or dry. I also like the fact that it’s basically private transportation to and from Paris and once you arrive in Giverny your given a short intro into the garden and house property and then you’re on your own to wonder around and later to explore the town. We usually walk around the lilly ponds, garden, Monet’s house, gift shop, have a bite at the restaurant by the parking lot, explore the town, visit his grave, and the old church, see other local shops, bakeries, have some ice cream and meet up for the return trip, they usually take you back to your hotel. You have about 3 or more hours to explore. It’s a lovely outing well spent.

It was absolutely amazing! You must see Giverney! Even though we visited in late September, the gardens were still beautiful. Our driver was friendly and very knowledgeable.
