Colombo Tuk Tuk Tour: Unforgettable City Sights & Culture

Our tour guide, Sterlin, was exceptional. He was very friendly and flexible. He stopped at all the important places in Colombo, including old & new lighthouses, Port City, Lotus tower, St. Anthony’s Shrine, the largest Buddhist temple in Colombo and a Hindu temple. We were not rushed at all. We stopped for a break at a roadside stand to get a king coconut, drinking the coconut water and he scraped out the coconut flesh for us. Along the way he setup and took remarkable photos of us. We ended with an excellent tea tasting where we spent over an hour getting explanations of many teas, followed by tastings of each tea. Overall it was a great day spent in Colombo with Sterlin. We highly recommend him for a tour guide.

We took this tour after circling the whole country for 12 days looking for wildlife, but in just a few hours Starlin provided so much more background to Sri Lanka’a history! He is also an excellent photographer and knew where all the best angles were. Had a fantastic tour with him!

I joined the Colombo Sightseeing Tour by Tuk Tuk as a solo traveler and had such a great time with my guide, Sterlin. He’s a really nice guy — easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the city, and he made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. What I really appreciated was how he helped take photos for me throughout the tour. As a solo traveler that can be tricky, but thanks to him I now have plenty of great shots to remember the day by. The Tuk Tuk ride was fun, the stops were well-planned, and I never felt rushed. Sterlin’s friendly personality and attention made the tour feel very personal.
