Goa's Portuguese Legacy: An Enchanting 2-Hour Walk

Was a an ok tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and guide us through the city well. Unfortunately there was miscommunication from the organizers that the guide wasn't aware that the tour included food tour. But the food we got was just Pastéis de nata and prawns rissóis. That barely qualifies as a food tour though. Could've been better in the organization and food aspects.

I have enjoyed exploring the Portuguese-influenced Goa on foot with Padmaj. A knowledgeable, well-spoken young man who knows his way around the Portuguese-influenced quarters. He even took time to taste pastries of the authentic bakery of Goa. He helped me to understand and gain knowledge of Portuguese-influenced Goa and answered all my questions and more.

The guide and the tour was nice and the tour. However the company yotours was bad: they called us 2 hours to inform about a minimum fee, after the booking was done while they advertised online that the tour is FREE. Totally confusing and instrasparent

We were guided by Mario on the tour who was very curt and professional. He waited patiently as well as we were 5 minutes late. The introduction was really good and informational and as it progressed we came to know about a lot of new information. The walk was also a really nice one. It could have been a bit more engaging. Since we were just 2 folks, we had the whole walk to us but the experience was kind of stretchy a few times. Probably some kind of activity could have been introduced. We give it a 4/5. I booked my sister and I this tour when we were staying in Panaji. We really enjoyed spending two hours with Padmaj on this tour - what a great guy! We took the Highlights of Portuguese influenced goa walk tour and I must admit it was an excellent decision we took while in panjim, Our guide padmaj was well versed with the history and also with other interesting facts which we found both educational and entertaining, I would definitely recommend the walk tour to anyone interested bin knowing the culture and history of Panjim.

Had a Great time, The walk tour was fun and educational as well, The guide was highly resourceful and friendly and provided us with some amazing facts of history of goa during our walk, I would highly recommend the walk tour for people who would like to know more about the history of Goa and would like to see the hidden unseen side of panjim.

Vrushali is very good. She told us some interesting stories and history during the tour. She took us to amazing cafe with delicious rum cake. Highly recommend her tour !!

The tour gave a really good insight into the Portuguese influence in Goa, which we were specifically identified and were told about. The guide Padmaj was inspiring, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke perfect English. Don't miss this trip! Worked fine for my 11-year-old daughter because Padmaj took the time to explain things to her.
