Negril's Private Paradise: Beach Bliss & Rick's Cafe Sunset

We had a wonderful time with Cornell! He's an exceptional tour guide and such a personable individual to spend time with. Throughout the tour, he gave us fun facts/history about the locations we were driving through. His presence made the tour much more enjoyable - from a 10/10 to an 11/10. Amazing location choices and options, great food, great weather, and an overall great time. We truly came as guests and left as family after such a lovely, warm, and lively day. Thank you, Cornell!

This was a very fun excursion! Cornell was a very excellent driver/guide and we had an absolute BLAST with him! He stopped along the way and treated us to some local treats of sour sop (VERY tasty fruit) and meat patties (so good!). He was very fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. He was a very safe driver and we even laughed our butts off at his ability to dodge potholes in the road. We never felt like we were on a schedule and he truly wanted us to have a personal experience. I would definitely book with Cornell again and highly recommend him!!

Ordered the egg and cress sandwich ,plus a cup of tea each.The tea arrived within a few minutes. Unfortunately the sandwiches came 30 minutes later, by this time we had nearly drank all of our tea .First when the tea for two arrived,there was only one saucer. Also the water was not hot in the teapot ! Two trips to the counter for a saucer first ,then again for more hot water. When the egg and cress sandwiches arrived,there was far too much egg in the sandwich.Yes it’s nice to see you have got something in between the bread.Just far too much ,I actually felt sick after eating it all .Also there did seem to be mayonnaise mixed in with the egg,which wasn’t stated on the menu.Plus another trip to the counter for napkins. Why can’t they come with the meal? Expensive menu. ! Never got asked if everything was ok ,won’t be back.

Our driver was friendly, punctual and a safe driver! We prearranged a stop for a fresh lobster lunch and it didn’t disappoint! Margaritaville (chairs are free but umbrella is $15) and Rick’s Cafe (no outside food or drinks) have free entry, but be prepared to pay for all food and drinks. We had a wonderful time on this excursion and felt comfortable and safe with our driver during our travels from Montego Bay to Negril and back. I highly recommend this tour company.

We loved this trip so much! Even though the drive from Montego Bay to Negril is 90ish minutes, our driver, Cornell made the time fly sharing the history of Jamaica and stopping along the way for fresh coconuts and local food. 7-mile beach in Negril is beautiful. Cornell took us to a spot that was not crowded at all and it truly felt like we were on island time 😎. Rick’s cafe was a blast and the views are incredible. We jammed out with Cornell on the ride home to top off the day. 10 out of 10!

FunTrip tours, along with our personal guide for the day, Cornell, goes above and beyond anything my wife and I could’ve imagined. Cornell picked us up promptly at 10 am from our resort and took us the scenic route to Negril, completely based off our wants/needs. We stopped at several roadside locations for local cuisine that you absolutely wouldn’t even know to stop at without Cornell’s expertise. After arriving to Negril, we stopped at Margaritaville (but you can stop at any beach you’d like) for 2.5 - 3 hours, where Cornell picked us up and took us to Rick’s Cafe until after sunset. Overall, the personal attention and care that FunTrip Tours and Cornell provide is unmatched! We came to Jamaica as tourists, but now we have a friend. We will use Cornell anytime we travel to Jamaica!!

We took an awesome island tour with Cornell and his company Fun Trip Tours in Jamaica! We took an excursion trip with Cornell 2 years ago and loved it so much we reached out to him directly and he made it happen again!! He is a wonderful guide, showed us so much of the island life and planned the itinerary around the different activities we wanted to experience! He is such a kind man who gave excellent advice and made our trip so enjoyable! Blessed to have had Cornell as our guide!

Couldn’t recommend this excursion enough! We had Cornell as our guide/driver for the day and he was fabulous. He picked us up from our hotel early and offered to make a few local pit stops along the way to seven mile beach and Rick’s. Had an amazing experience and can’t wait to return to Jamaica!!!

Cornell was very professional and my tour of Jamaica was exceptional I really enjoyed this solo trip I will definitely be returning and I will be booking with him again he gave more tours and great site seeing of Jamaica he was very friendly and knowledgeable
